It'll be a :D moment for the UK charts if 'Blurred Lines' has the ability to prevent 'Walks Like Rihanna' from topping the UK chart. That would give Robin Thicke a four week run at #1 (equalling Daft Punk) which would be brilliant. Both songs have had the massive sales to back up its longevity so it's all good imo. :D

Extraordinary to think that 'Blurred Lines' will have already sold half a million copies by the end of this week. :o

If Chasing the Sun and I Found You both didn't get there, then Walks Like Rihanna should be nowhere near number one!

(Not saying that the former are amazing but they're FAR better than this next release)

I'll always remember this song because of when M.I.A was pregnant and she performed it at an award show in the US on her due date. It would've been scary if she went into labour during the performance! :lol:

They still won't go to #1. Blurred Lines is too big to stop Walks Like Rihanna from going to #1.

But AIUI, Blurred Lines will be on it's 5th week by then, and I would assume its sales wil have slipped to below 100k by then...

I still can't see 'Walks Like Rihanna' selling any more than 90,000 and definitely no more than 100,000. It is doing very well on pre-orders, but good pre-orders don't automatically equal massive sales. It will definitely go top 2 though, it depends if 'Blurred Lines' is still selling over 100,000 and I think it will be doing!

I don't know why it is doing so *now*, let alone in 3 weeks time... :P
