Laura Palmer has had alot if plays on radio 1 trust me I listen from 8-5 each day at work. This week it's been their most played song I'd say along with John newman!

Echoing this! So much so that I've actually become quite tired of it now.

That Frank Turner track, on the other hand, I very rarely hear.

Well, Selena Gomez & The Scene do :kink: (sorry)

I forgot about "Naturally", managed that without Radio 1 support iirc. I like how they're supporting all of the Disney/Nickelodeon etc. girls (well, not Ariana :() this year, interested to see if Miley can finally get an official top 10 as well.

Such a shame to see them snubbing Ariana. A great song! I do hope it's being snubbed because Ariana's actually going to come over and promote some point later in the year or something, so it'll be added then. But 'The Way' is a grower.

Work: C-B-A

My Hearts Takes Over: C-B-A-A-A

And the longest playlisted song of theirs:

What About Us: C-B-B-A-A-A-A-A

'My Heart Takes Over' *.*

YOUR FLOPS COULD NEVER.

I'm still legitimately upset that, that wasn't the massive hit it deserved to be! :(

Has Pink and Lily Allen's 'True Love' been snubbed then? I would have thought it'd get playlisted after JGMAR. Although they did only support the first three singles from the 'Funhouse' era. Unless it has been pushed back as it doesn't even have a video yet?

I'm guessing it's been pushed back, there's no way Radio 1 would snub this surely!

I don't think it's "officially" been sent to radio stations yet. Any stations already playing it maybe playing the album version.

It's currently #1,153 on the rolling airplay chart so you'd be right in that aspect.

About the whole "Disney Girls" thing - Miley, Demi and Selena have all left Disney now and are just like any other female solo act. Bridgit is the only one still there

But Demi and Selena are signed to a Disney record label, so technically their still under Disney's umbrella.

Surprised Jason Derulo hasn't moved up to the alist this week after his good performance on the sales chart!
Poor Saturdays! I wonder if this will be their first song to miss A-List?

I'm almost 100% sure they've missed it at least once?

If This Is Love, Work and My Heart Takes Over are my guesses...

What makes you all think The Sats has missed a chance of being A Listed? It's still not out for a few weeks! It'll probably go up next week.

These Disney girls are actually releasing good pop songs, so they're worthy of the success. Selena Gomez could do well in the UK due to the lack of anything similar, R1 support should certainly guarantee a T20 debut at least.

If just over a day at #3 was enough for Leah McFall to debut at #16, Arctic Monkeys must be looking at the minimum of a #8/9 debut - which is pretty darn good for an OA/OS BAND.

Radio 1 are only getting on board with the Disney girls because they've been doing exceptionally well in the US. They've all had a slow climb towards credibility over there (I'd put the change in fortunes down to 'Give Your Heart A Break' and 'Love You Like A Love Song') and it's just kind of obvious that they have a wide appeal now. I still think the second singles for Demi and Selena will be touch and go as regards UK performance (Bridgit is clearly fucked), but it really just comes down to whether or not atrocious management kills their US campaigns again.
I choose to believe they playlisted 'Heart Attack' because it's actually good, unlike anything else she's put out.
But it's not!
Does anyone know how many weeks How Ya Doin'? by Little Mix was on the A List? thanks :)

3 weeks. It went C-B-A-A-A-out.

Has Pink and Lily Allen's 'True Love' been snubbed then?

Its been pushed back to July 22nd, so they should playlist them within the next week or two ^_^
