But then the chart isn't the most bought songs of the week. It'd be stupid to exclude them.

I agree, they should be included. Doesn't matter the price of the songs or how old they are, the chart is simply a list of the best-selling songs each week, nothing more, so they should be included.

For anyone that cares, the iTunes single of the week is the amazing 'Full Circle' by Half Moon Run. Been listening to their album for a few months now; some brilliant tracks.

It seems as if 'What Now' is being pushed in Australia and France after Right Now (thankfully) not taking off, so Def Jam might be doing WW release for that instead. I'm so glad that generic trash flopped tbh.

Jump is definitely the best choice, What Now is a better choice than Right Now but I don't think it's a massive hit. Diamonds and Stay are the only obvious hits from the album though so she chose right for the first two singles. It's quite bad for someone to like Rihanna to flop with two singles in a row, Pour It Up was a terrible choice (although I love it personally) but if shit like Play Hard can go top 10 then Right Now should smash

Love Without Tragedy is screaming to be finished off and released a la Birthday Cake (rather than being a half song tacked on with Mother Mary) though :(

Avicii - Wake Me Up (pre-order) 22

 148. Thinking About You (feat Ayah Marar) - Calvin Harris

Hopefully 150k+ first week sales for the former and top 10 for the latter. Both amazing songs

Steve Angello top 40  (if you take out one of the 'Get Lucky's) I do have to express my anger at the most recent review of it on iTunes that says "This is a copy of Don't Wanna Go Home"

I wonder if Spark Productions can make the official top 40 this week with their cover of Wake Me Up. Still at #35 despite the original up for pre-order, and it hasn't yet been deleted. Would be the first fake to go top 40 since Whistle/Payphone I believe.

I think Loveeeeeee Song could've made a great single, but I think it's probably too late now. Everybody is over the song.

Jump is probably my favourite song on the album, but I fear it'll get the "urban only" treatment. :( It's such a random song. Although people say it sounds like Magnetic Man/Katy B, so it could be a hit here. Plus it has a lion roaring all through the song, and that didn't hurt Harlem Shake. The weird thing is that it's got two rappers in it, one sounds like Kanye West, the other sounds like Lil Wayne, but nobody is credited.

'Jump' is one of the only slightly bearable tracks on the album, that wouldn't be such a bad choice.

I hope she has better for her next era, this has been by far her worst ever. Awful.

One of the writers did some vocals for it, so I'm presuming they're the person that sounds like Kanye. Jump sounds amazing on the radio and should have been the song to replace Right Now. :( Then What Now or Half Of Me for the fall.

I swear 'Run' has never got as high as #55 whenever it has been discounted. Hopefully it officially goes top 75 this week. I'd love to know its total sales. Surely around 700k now.

 15. The Saturdays - Gentleman (#28 soon? :o)

Really happy to see Crazy Kids nearing the top 20. Still not sure where it's getting the support from!

Was wondering why no Jay-Z album tracks had appeared on the singles chart, but just checked and the album hasn't been officially released here yet so that explains it :P I expect Holy Grail with Justin Timberlake will shoot up next week when the album does drop, as well as a radio 1 playlist add for it.

And regarding Rihanna, Pour It Up should never have been released. I probably would have put Right Now there instead as a safe generic hit to follow on from Stay and then maybe followed it up with What Now (personal preference would have been Love Without Tragedy... but it probably wouldn't work as a single).

Crazy Kids is doing decent on TV + the 59p must be helping it quite alot

Delighted that Ke$ha is having success with Crazy Kids, hopefully it manages to go top 15. Come and promote plz.

22. Avicii - Wake Me Up

75. Imagine Dragons - It's Time

103. Sugababes - About You Now

116. Tinchy Stryder Feat N - Dubz - Number 1

136. The Saturdays Feat Sean Paul - What About Us

142. Rihanna Feat David Guetta - Right Now

165. Lorde - Tennis Court

186. Holly Valance - Kiss Kiss

225. Jessie J - Wild [No Rap Edit]

226. Daft Punk Feat Pharrell - Get Lucky Remix [Album Only] (Oh, this is getting released in a couple of weeks)

236. Ciara - Body Party

239. Miley Cyrus - We Can't Stop

240. Lawson - Brokenhearted [Quite an under-performance taking into account it's airplay]

I agree, that UK Singles chart is better, than Billboard Hot 100 chart (which include airplay, streaming).

Budget chart is really nice solution of this problem.

In late 90s we have minimum 10 new songs in top 40 (and 20 in top 75) every week.

How many new songs we can see in UK Singles Top 100 now ?

Rihanna - Unapologetic - 4/5.

SINGLES SHOULD BE AND ESTIMATED PEAKS

1. Diamonds - 1

2. Stay (Feat. Mikky Ekko) - 3

3. Nobody's Business (Feat. Chris Brown) - 7

4. Right Now (Feat. David Guetta) - 4

5. Phresh Out The Runway - 52

6. Love Without Tragedy (Extended Version) - 16

7. Half of Me/Lost In Paradise - 8

I personally love Unapologetic and I think once a video for Right Now gets released it'll do similarly to Where Have You Been. Pour It Up really was a massive mistake, if she wanted an urban single to be released she should've released it later as not kill momentum from Stay and Diamonds. Also Phresh Out The Runway is so much more catchy and appealing.

THE ORDER I RANK RIHANNA'S ALBUMS

1. Loud

2. Rated R

3. Unapologetic

4. Good Girl Gone Bad

5. Talk That Talk

6. A Girl Like Me

7. Music Of The Sun

It's sad to see a Rihanna-free Top 100 on iTunes as we haven't seen one of those in a while. If she pushed Right Now I think it would be massive as its such a great song and as proved by casual buyers it DOES have potential because remember it charted Top 40 straight after the album release even though it wasn't a single. Could someone post a list of sales for Rihanna's albums maybe please?

Also complete change of subject but why does everyone hate 1D on Buzzjack, I think they're great!

Because they have no talent and their songs sound too cheesy

Okay, in no way am I a One Direction stan but to say that they are talentless is a bit of a stretch. They all can sing and all have a lot of Star Quality.

Also it may just boil down to personal taste but I don't find their songs cheesy at all.

Not everyone hates 1D, I most certainly don't. ;) Their songs are cheesy but that doesn't stop me liking them. I do agree that it's going a bit far to suggest that they have no talent but that might be my loon-tinted glasses, IDK.
518. The Nolans - I'm In the Mood for Dancing

That sounds more like one that should have charted after Thatcher's demise... ;)

It's only a problem in your head.
