6 new entries straight into the top 50 and another top 100 from single pre-orders, don't think there's ever been a week anywhere close to that before!

I think Avril will just do a Gentleman / Bounce. Start off well but fall off rapidly within the week :(.
Shocked Avril's quite THIS high :o I'd love it if she could break the top 10 but I highly doubt it. :(

 

It should defo make the top 10 tomorrow on itunes. We'll have to see how big a top 10 effect she gets. I hope a huge one! :wub:

I could see Avril stalling at #11 or #12 as there will be a massive gap (around 10%) between #10 and #11 once Selena catches up to the current #9. I could see Breach being able to make that gap up but I doubt Avril will have the momentum to do so. I hope I'm wrong!

Jason is falling though, so hopefully he'll keep falling enough to let Avril in. Otherwise, I hope Selena gets accidently deleted and Avril passes Jason due to the top 10 effect before she gets added back :kink:

This is all happening very fast. It's almost as if everyone has reached their peaks already. So incredibly pleased for Selena. Keep going!!
Why "somehow"? Don't Go There easily should have been a top 10 hit.

 

Songs like that don't usually chart well. Not to mention this is Giggs we're talking about. The only time I remember him being in the top 40 was on Game Over, and that song was simply incredible.

At least Right Now went top 40 back in November.

 

But it now seems fairly obvious that that was solely due to it having a "featuring David Guetta" tag, rather than the song being at all popular. Very happy at it's bombing -- of all the super-generic "club bangers" that have infested the chart since 2010, 'Right Now' is quite possibly the laziest of them all.

Pleasantly surprised at Avril being so high, although it's probably being MAJORLY inflated by being held back for so long and will probably freefall after it's first week.

Yeah, it's a shame. Instead we get songs that are absolute w**k like Icona Pop charting high.
