I can sort of see why Laura Palmer failed to reach the Top 40 but if this doesn't smash I will be deeply upset.

Currently at 308.

#28 MEGA-SMASHER comin their way (and that's being optimistic) :(

I must face this sad truth.

I wish Bastille would re-release Overjoyed. It probably wouldn't do any better than their current singles, I just really want it to get AT LEAST a position in the top 100
I'm hoping at least one can go top 40!

Faithfully now in the top 1500 as well :)

Don't really expect any of the songs to do anything else now :(

Single EP Pre-orders (album chart):

48. Best Song Ever - One Direction

121. All the Wrong Places - Example

152. Trampoline (feat. 2 Chainz) - Tinie Tempah

199. Melody Calling (EP) - The Vaccines

312. Strong (EP) - London Grammar

365. Dust Clears - Clean Bandit

377. Way In the World (EP) - Nina Nesbitt

393. Boom Boom (Heartbeat) [feat. Rachel K Collier] - Ray Foxx

470. Sinners (EP) - Lauren Aquilina

616. Earthquake (feat. Dominique Young Unique) - DJ Fresh & Diplo

957. Carry Me On (feat. Chrom3) - Brookes Brothers

1362. Are You Getting Enough? (feat. Miles Kane) - Professor Green

Meanwhile AlunaGeorge's single pre-order for 'You Know You Like It' is #188 on the Electronic Chart. Just around 20 or so places behind Django Django's "Wor" :D OOPS. Good single choice that was

I also hope they nab the coveted #28!

But let's not forget the Sats' couldn't even manage a #28 mega smasher and they're a bigger group (and with more members!) :(

 2. John Newman - Love Me Again

 3. Robin Thicke - Blurred Lines (feat. T.I. & Pharrell)

Drop it already.

'Laura Palmer' was a really limp way to follow up 'Pompeii', 'Things We Lost In The Fire' is a lot better so I'm confident it'll at least outperform it!

:cheer: Sir Newman slaying all bases.

EDIT: I completely forgot Robin's album was out this week and didn't notice the album version until now - it's as high as #30 already :o Cave Kings Remix is at #100 also.

 45. Hail to the King - Avenged Sevenfold

 46. Miss Jackson (feat. Lolo) - Panic! At the Disco

But we're presuming Robin's album cherry picks are taking away from the single being downloaded? :P

I kind of got over Bastille a while back, most likely because of Laura Palmer being a complete non-event of a single - never understood the love for it (along with Imagine Dragons' Its Time actually). Both albums have some real good gems but they don't seem to want to release them and are choosing the most lifeless tracks instead so no wonder they're underperforming.

Things We Lost In The Fire could (and should) do slightly better though.

 199. Robin Thicke - Give It 2 U (feat. Kendrick Lamar)

1362. Are You Getting Enough? (feat. Miles Kane) - Professor Green

This is really going to underperform isn't it :( Maybe he should just ready the Emeli track for single #2 then :/

:cheer: Sir Newman slaying all bases.

Err, why don't you just ignore him?!

This is really going to underperform isn't it :( Maybe he should just ready the Emeli track for single #2 then :/

Is anyone surprised by this though? He should just pass this off as a buzz single, I don't think anyone would notice that it was actually meant to be a real single.

Like At Your Inconvenience. It's far from my favourite from him, but he may as well carry on with it. It's not going to end his career if it misses the top 20, and one of the following singles could be bigger (like how Remedy and Avalon did much better than Never Be a Right Time).

Look who's talking :(

Before "advicing" someone something, you should learn to act like that otherwise you're not credible. And right now you are not credible. ;)
