October 6, 201311 yr This is doing better than I thought, I'm really pleased! I thought #8 at the absolute best. I do wish they wouldn't keep making such mistakes as 'Gentleman' though as one day they will run out of chances.
October 6, 201311 yr Just think, had this been the only major new release this week it would've had a shot at reaching #1 (on iTunes at least).
October 7, 201311 yr Oh well anything was better than #14. I secretly hoped this would do well despite the pessimism here. Too good a song not to!
October 7, 201311 yr That is possibly my favourite Saturdays performance to date. Like someone else said, I didn't even notice Frankie was missing and that's important for a group when they're down a member, imo. It does make you wonder though, what if this had been the follow up to 'What About Us' instead of 'Gentleman'? I think it would have been even bigger than it is now in all honesty. Radio would have jumped on board a lot sooner than they eventually did. Hopefully this sticks top 5 for them come Sunday, but tbh, the worst I'm expecting now is #7! :D Next week will be interesting to see if it can hold up with the album being released and stuff. I hope this can have a run similar to 'Up'! (Although I highly doubt that very much and it'll still "do a '30 Days'" at best.)
October 7, 201311 yr I recorded it and I'm just awake so watching it now. I never thoought Rochelle would take being a mum so literally - WITH HER CLOTHES!

I do agree, this could have been a lot bigger than it already is (impressive stuff being in the top 10 with everything else that is) if it had followed 'What About Us' - 'Gentleman' just needs to be forgotten.
October 7, 201311 yr It's on vimeo, can't post it from my mobile. However, the Daybreak performance was rather average. These girls can do soooooo good when they have big stages, yet they can also be really poor if given short stages and low production. Stepping Out and Surprise Surprise are the way to go for me.
October 7, 201311 yr Daybreak performance: http://vimeo.com/76311477 I thought it was quite good. Mollie looked hot.
October 7, 201311 yr The Daybreak performance wasn't as good as the others but still pretty fab. They always have sound issues when they go on there. It sounded like it was just Vanessa singing live on the chorus. Mollie was a pre-record all the way through and Una & Rochelle did their sections live. It sounds messy coming in and out of live vocals though :(
October 7, 201311 yr It was a good performance but the chorus just sounded empty. Vanessa seems a little out of breath with all the dancing which is understandable but showed in her vocals. I completely agree with Hurricane, they seem to be flawless when on a big stage, but when performing on a small TV show like Daybreak they seem a lot More laid back and less on point. Still a good performance though. :) Extremely happy with how its holding up, I know its Only monday but they seem steady in the top 5. What other promo do they have for this week?
October 7, 201311 yr They're on 4Music in about 20 minutes time for a show called 'Would You Rather...?'
October 7, 201311 yr i've finally given in to this song. The beat and chorus sound absolutely massive through earphones. :o
October 7, 201311 yr Got them where? Got them (tv viewers) to the youtube video site  Gosh , hard day @ work. Just watched daybreak performance. They really need to practice @ this studio. We can't say its flawless. They either should lipsync, when the BG vocals play, or cut the BG vocals and sing live. Another option is to harmonize perfectly with the BG vocals. They did a cool performance , though. Probably people won't notice the flaws as carefully as the critics do. However it may be, i like the fact they sing live B-)

And they also need to add new set of fans to their base.
