I've only watched one audition on YouTube, and that was Jai's. Absolutely beautiful voice (and cute too :kink:), so hoping he does well. Will start watching it in full very soon, though.

just catching up on this before XF UK starts....Seeing Dannii there really makes me miss her....Come back to XF UK Dannii...I know it wont happen but a guy can dream right?

Dannii is fabulous <3 There's been quite a few instances where she's been the only one speaking sense, sometimes it seems the other three go way OTT with praise and Dannii will pick up on the glaring fault. I have a few to catch up though, I'll need to blitz through like 4 or 5 of them :lol:

I kinda slipped with this, missed half the auditions and the bootcamp so I just skipped to home visits :P I'll spoiler in case people haven't seen it yet!

My god there wasn't half some crap in that first live show! Not too fussed with the result, there were better acts but also there were worse. The only one I particularly liked was Dami, she was astounding and really took me by surprise. I was very disappointed in Jiordan, my favourite, but that was down to the ABYSMAL song choice (I love the song but it's not her at all) from RedFoo :manson: Joelle was pretty good too but it was a bit cheap, same for Third D3gree. Ronan's boys aside from Taylor were both awful, I still don't see the fuss with Jai. To me his voice is just terrible, he looks and sounds about 7 years old :/ JTR were probably the worst though, so so dull and I could barely even hear them. But of course they're 'cute' so they fly through.

JUst finished watching the live show #1 I wanna know WTF is with all the early branding/logos for them? I dont think it looks good AT ALL!

 

Anyways I LOVED Dami, Joelle and Tyler the rest where meh for me I dont get why Ronan put through Omar...such a waste tbh!

Yeah Omar was pretty bad and I thought the whole 'LET'S JUST RANDOMLY SING A DANCE ANTHEM' thing was weird to say the least...

 

Apparently the votes were leaked and

Dami was 1st by 10%

but they were removed, I don't know whether that was because they were true and needed to be swiftly removed but it seems a bit too good to be true...

 

Also, Dami and Jai are the highest on iTunes - Jai at #32 and Dami at #33!

Anyway Jiordan is the only one that stands out imo. She's a very special singer :wub:

I love RedFoo :o I can't stand his music but he's hilarious. Sometimes a bit lost as a judge, and his comments are a bit 'wtf why' but I like him better than Guy Sebastian.

 

This week's show a definite step up! Dami blew me away again, I think she's one of the most naturally gifted singers I've seen in years. That was possibly the best performance I've seen of Purple Rain ever (except Ruth Lorenzo maybe) and she barely even has to try :o So so effortless. Jiordan is on another level too, I thought RedFoo totally cursed her with Thriller for a song choice but it was beyond captivating, her voice is just mesmerising :wub: JTR were definitely the worst for me, vocally average, no energy whatsoever. It was like an even shitter version of Lawson draining all energy out of a Kylie song I already hate :drama:

 

Wtf at the bottom 2 as well...

OMFG DAMI'S PERFORMANCE OF ROAR :wub: Absolutely epic, and fourth standing ovation from ALL the judges in a row <3 Nobody else even compares to her talent, Jiordan would be my 2nd favourite but if there's any justice Dami absolutely has this on lockdown!

 

Ronan is an absolute asshole too. So far up himself, seriously :/ He criticises practically everyone else bar Dami yet his acts are TOTALLY COMPLETELY PERFECT. Yes, of course. He has Jai in his catergory for god's sake, how can he be critical of the other judge's choices? He was completely right about Joelle though, I think RedFoo is really throwing her under a bus. Ellie too this week...

And the winner was....

DAMI IM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - very happy with that, superb voice but that's 2 years in a row an Over has won, makes me annoyed that they don't take the category more seriously over here rather than just filling it with 'old belters' with no hope of a proper career after the show.

Honestly have never been this happy with an X-Factor winner! She is world class, pretty much every performance aside from the shaky You're The Voice was outstanding. Plus she's the most humble and sweet girl imaginable, she really deserves every success and her personality will go the distance for her. What a star. Plus Alive is amazing <3

 

Not watched any of this, but just seen a few of Dami's performance's on YouTube and she is bloody fantastic.

 

Her versions of Purple Rain and Roar especially are brilliant.

 

Taylor Henderson is also cute from pictures I've seen not gonna lie.

Taylor is hawt :wub: And he was one of my favourites throughout along with Dami of course, Third D3gree, Jiordan and poor brave Ellie (God knows what happened there!) :(

 

fantastic series overall, our version is laughably weak by comparison. Jai is probably the worst contestant I've ever seen get so far on a singing show though.

Was please Jai ended up as the Eggnog, and the mum votes only got him so far, he should have never been in the live finals let alone in the top 3.
