Ireland gets lots of songs weeks before the UK. I wouldn't assume anything unless she announces herself it's out next week.

I think "Roar" is already at risk of losing sales now. R1 are playing it regularly, to the point where a September 8th release is ludicrous. I think releasing on Sunday would be a good idea, she'd certainly get that #1.

Finally. That 'Sonnentanz' song is so dull. I'm not a fan of these laidback, dance tracks that we've had this year. 'So Good To Me', 'Boom Boom (Heartbeat)' and now this. That Deadmau5 'I Remember' song from a few years ago was also terrible. Nothing to them, at all.

I really hope Katy doesn't release next week, Sonnentanz would be such a great/surprise number one! If she has to bring the release date forwards I'd rather week commencing August 25th especially as there are no big releases that week, apart from Rizzle Kicks but I don't see them getting to number one

The 'Roar' pre-order was made available only in Ireland and the UK and at the same time, so it would probably make sense that the UK release will happen the same release week as in Ireland in this case. I hope so anyway!
