I can't wait, Grown Up Christmas List and I'll Be Home For Christmas are amazing and she never disappoints. Confirmed tracks: Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas Wrapped In Red Underneath The Christmas Tree Run Run Rudolph Please Come Home For Christmas Blue Christmas
August 19, 201311 yr "Wrapped In Red" is due Oct. 29, and the new song "Underneath the Tree" will be its first single. Wrapped In Red, the singer/songwriter's first yuletide outing, will be ready for unwrapping Oct. 29. The collection will feature holiday classics such as Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, Run Run Rudolph, Please Come Home For Christmas and Blue Christmas alongside original tunes. Among the latter: the first single, Underneath the Christmas Tree, co-written by Clarkson and Greg Kurstin, who collaborated on her 2011 album Stronger. In a statement, Clarkson said she was "super excited to put out my first Christmas record. I absolutely love Christmas music and have had a total blast recording and writing for it. I can't wait for y'all to hear it."
August 19, 201311 yr Author Are the last two new songs then? Glad its not all covers. Yep, there are more than two from what I understand :D OMG original X Factor winners show-down, Kelly v. Leona Xmas Track Beatdown!! A) Kelly was the original AMERICAN IDOL in 2002 B) Leona wasn't the original XF winner, she won series 3 :P And ofc Kelly will 'slay' for want of a better word. But is battle of the A Moment Like This singers
August 19, 201311 yr Wonder who will have ... yes, I'm going for it!! ... the best moment at Xmas! I want both albums to be fair, but I doubt either will top Celtic Woman's collections/ violin-heavy vids.
August 19, 201311 yr Kelly is going to wipe the floor with everyone else this Christmas. *.* I think she's going to do really well in the US. I think she'll do well in the UK as I'm sure she'll get a slot on the X-factor. Hopefully it'll be able to go gold at the very least in the UK. :D Would be amazing if Leona & Kelly could do a duet for one of their albums seeming as the are both bringing out Christmas albums this year.
August 20, 201311 yr If she can put an original Xmas song on there, she could make this a really successful XMas album... like Sarah McClachlan's "Wintersong".

Would be wonderful for her seeing as I always think she's too much "under the radar" and kinda just "passes by" with the general public. :( YES PLEASE at that duet though <3 The two greatest vocalists of today on one track, with different tones? Sounds wonderful. Oh and here's a bigger version of the cover:
August 21, 201311 yr I wonder what makes an artist want to record a Christmas album. It strikes me as mind numbingly dull and bereft of any real creativity. It's just a load of cliches wrapped up as an album, then flogged to be listened to one month a year. I for one could do without Kelly wishing me merry Christmas as I do not care for her feigned wishes.

August 21, 201311 yr Reason in her own words 'I absolutely love Christmas music and have had a total blast recording and writing for it' I take back every last word I said. After all who am I to question Ms Clarkson and her album themes?

I for one could do without Kelly wishing me merry Christmas as I do not care for her feigned wishes. It's probably purely for commercial reasons. They seem to be trying to transition her into being more of an adult-contemporary artist now (she's been dipping into the country market as well for that reason), and Xmas albums are a good, relatively easy way of doing that in the US. It won't do a thing in the UK though obviously. Edited August 21, 201311 yr by Danny
