For anyone CHECKIN I got the highest points for a 2nd place song since 'Look Back' and enough to win any contest since that one apart from Woodkid and Carli's ones. Such an awkward month to send this song!

 

(Belanger also the highest points for a winner since Foxes, in the same contest as 'Look Back').

With the only two songs that finished above me in the opposite semi there's a chance Ashton won SF1 and thus can snatch the Most Semi-Finals win record as a soloist again.

Well then there is one positive from Hit's vanishing act as Look Back is so much better/more deserving of it's place as highest non-1BF 2nd placer. :kink:

Gonna be nice to be back to usual again although having the temps being the messengers for 5months was a nice break for the inbox.

It's probably a blessing in disguise that I didn't win actually, can't have BJSC hosting distracting me from ~back to school~ business. If I can snag an AQ then I get (almost) all the benefit of winning without the hassle of hosting. Go me!

Truls would also have won the previous contest and in that case I actually COULD have sent him the previous time - I was torn between Spor and Truls in LII and ended up sending Spor because I thought I'd never get around to sending him otherwise.

 

Luckily this time I didn't discover 'Dark Star' until well after the confirmations closed last month. And anyway I wouldn't want to deny SevenSeize a win. ~it's all good~ (just should have sent Truls a contest earlier :angry:)

First semi final win for me, very unexpected considering the semi was full of people who'd love Belanger! (Truls ended up by far the highest song *from* his semi but only came 3rd in the actual semi. Seems the overall winner is not a semi winner more often than it is). Only snubbed by 4 people in the semi as well + Ben ended up giving me points in the final anyway :o

 

Getting that 'most voters' as well. Minor victories~
