Forgot about combined entries. But I still get the feeling she's going to stall at #11 this week! Grr. At least she's getting closer with each boost. :kink:
A Thousand Years is awful and Jar Of Hearts hasnt aged that well. She is capable of better, but these are the only songs that she will ever be known for :(.
'Arms' getting a boost would be nice! But ATY is my favourite from her. Looking forward to her new material (if it ever surfaces)!
Jar Of Hearts is so much better than A Thousand Years :( What a shame it's always the latter that has been getting big boosts recently.

The Lonely >>>> Arms.

 148. Royals [PRE-ORDER] - Lorde

GWON  Probably won't beat James Arthur to #1 that week, but it's amazing how much this has taken off!

Oh. James Arthur's song is actually okay but it would be awful if that's #1 while Lorde peaks at #2. :/

749. Children of the Sun (feat. John Martin) - Tinie Tempah (pre-order)

Finally showing up somewhere at least. Thought this would do a bit better to be honest but it's still early days.

James Arthur and Lorde would be a top 2 I'd get behind. Preferably with Lorde at #1 but it won't have a chance against James
Is James really such a certain #1? Especially on past form with male winners...

I've actually heard it on the radio already, which is quite promising although I don't exactly know what Matt Cardle/Joe McElderry's radio airplay was like either. Also it was Kiss FM at that, I can't imagine a station like them would've touched Matt/Joe with a bargepole!

I don't think its a certain number 1, but I think it'll perform the best out of the male winners for sure. I mean who else from that year is actually gonna show him up?

James Arthur seems far more popular than previous male winners, as much as I dislike him he has very clear potential to do far better than all the previous male winners. 'Impossible' was the 2nd biggest selling winner's single in the UK (might become the biggest in time, maybe it already has?) despite poor ratings for the show last year and it even became a hit across Europe and Australia/NZ. It's clear that he's in a different league to the likes of Matt, Joe and Leon. In sales terms anyway. The only different league he's in musically is a worse one  Although like I said 'You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Loves You' is not that bad, if he could manage to not sound like he's dying he could actually be pretty good.

Also he seems to be working with a lot of currently relevant artists for his debut album which I don't think can be said for any of the previous male winners (Gary Barlow on Matt's album doesn't count )

You make a point ... I really don't think ANY of the runner ups will have any success. I suppose Union J will but it will only be moderate ... Ella will probably be successful on a Rebecca Ferguson scale.

You're all forgetting Jahméne Douglas' SMASH HIT #1 by default on pathetic sales with a terrible chart run album. *.* Artist of our generation. I hope he wins that MOBO for Best Newcomer!!1
I could easily see Lorde reaching #1 ahead of James Arthur especially if it's released in the peak of it's hype and worldwide success, although that being said I haven't actually heard the James Arthur track so I dunno if I should be judgementing on this...
James has worked with Labirinth! Also I think he just has more potential than any other male winner so far to actually sound current, it was always going to be hard to make Matt, Joe, Leon or Shayne current really.

146. Royals - Lorde

155. You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Loves You - James Arthur

Hmm... (if Lorde is only this high because she performed on Jools Holland then she'll probably start falling again pretty soon though).
