When does the official chart stop counting sales for this week's chart? Do you think Skyscraper could go top 10?

The sales week is Sunday 12:00 AM - Saturday 11:59 PM. So it's unlikely that Skyscraper will go top 10 in tomorrow's chart but it could possibly climb next week.

Tonight. I doubt she'll be Top 10 this week so it'll depend whether it holds up. They might even play it again on X Factor tomorrow.

No, it won't be top 10 this week.

And Katy Perry #1????

Faith finally restored after those three awful tracks RUINED music at the beginning of the year!!

There's no way Skyscraper will go top 10 with just 2/3 hours top 10 on iTunes (although it was of course in the top 20 beforehand) probably between 11-20 and maybe top 10 next week if it hangs on on iTunes.

Double celebration then :cheer:

By midnight.

So happy for Demi! It is a beautiful song, so glad people are noticing a song about hurt and pain rather than talking dirty to someone... I pray it charts in the top 10!
It is Demi's version :P It was going to be their winner's single if they'd won (god forbid).

Ugh imagine if they'd won and stomped all over that beautiful song and made it forever associated here with THEM!!!

It's so fortunate that Demi has her success NOW before their album release so that they can't take the profile of the song :D It will now be associated more with her thanks to the top 10!

Also makes it less likely the X Factor will cover it.

And ugh what was I saying, that this is just the sort of excellent low-charting song the X Factor would try and nab?? Looks like they did already!

144. Chase & Status - Count On Me (feat. Moko)

Another top 10 hit for them please.

Isn't Before He Cheats was in your all-time top 5 anymore :o

I'm sure you all know what I think about Skyscraper having success :puke: I'll try not to go on about it though

See, this is how Thermometer and I are similar, we are both quite classy when it comes to songs we don't like and barely mention them ^_^

You can be a right pain in the neck, but that was a good one I'll give you that.

Skyscraper's already on the UK edition of Demi and it's being re-released in the UK on October 28th

Wow! When did Hollywood Records start getting their shit together?

It was never going to be associated with them anyway. This is just a bonus song on their album because the fans wanted it. It is just something extra for us.

But YAY Demi! TBH it should have gotten this recognition in the first place! I guess Demi really has Simon Cowell to thank for all this!

It was actually her UK label Polydor records, HWR are still useless :P
