Wanted are also pretty desperate for American success it seems after their last singles flopped there to put the country in the song title.

Yeah, the song is literally called 'Show Me Love (America)' It smells of desperation.

Can you blame them, the way their going I suspect they may be in trouble! I can see this going top 5 after X Factor which would be a result but they need to go away and come back with a huge hit and leave the reality TV show behind as they have released some good tracks

Gaga should have kept "Venus" as the second single.

She definitely shouldn't have. It would've killed the ARTPOP era.

Im not a gaga fan but venus is seriously fantastic. I pray it goes to number 1. When is the video out??

The end is near for the wanted. (Yay)

No.9 The Wanted - Show Me Love (America)

It seems that many people hate them here but people like them out here..So, your hate doesn't have so strength to change their popularity and their chart success..

No.22 & 52 & 119 Foxes - Youth

The best new release this week

No.60 Avril Lavigne - Rock N Roll

One of her best songs with one of her worst videoclips..

No.69 Adele - Skyfall

So epic!!!

Just listening to Venus right now.

Not liking it on first listen. Based on the first 3 songs. Doubt i'll be buying the album, unless when I have a listen on iTunes I hear some good songs. I love gaga but I think she's lost it, music wise. Her first ear had so many great melodic songs and the albums were backed up with some great ballards with meaning.

I really liked Born this Way as an album, some cracking songs on their that would have made much better single choices than Marry the night and You and I.

She definitely shouldn't have. It would've killed the ARTPOP era.

And she really would have been over. She's close to the line at the moment but DWYW shows she IS still relevant when she releases relevant, simple pop tracks without any unnecessary flamboyant 80s Bowie stuff.

Come on "Rock N Roll"! Go top 40 at least. :snif:

Glad to see "Youth" doing quite well. Hopefully the advert will be shown tonight during X-factor and boost it into the top 10.

22. Foxes - Youth

46. Foxes - Youth

104. Foxes - Youth (Radio Edit)

^ must be close to top 10 combined! Probably won't get there officially, but this is a great result for it <3

Fatboy Slim 0.92 of Lorde, might get the itunes #1 for a while (until 1D are released tomorrow), although Lorde's album release may give Royals a bit of a boost

Are Eminem & Rihanna released this week? If they are, they could be a shoo-in for the #1 as Rihanna's fans buy her stuff by the truckloads, good or bad.

Unlike Get Lucky, which I saw as immensely disappointing for an act of Daft Punk's 90s calibre, am loving Eat Sleep Rave Repeat! Great to see Fatboy Slim still has it, even if he's had Calvin Harris to help him out :D

I have just listened to the Fatboy Slim song.....

it pains me that we live in a world where a track like that is successful.

If 'Eat Sleep Rave Repeat' gets to #1 it'll be the 8th #1 Calvin Harris has been in some way involved with in just 5 years! (Conveniently split into 2 of his own songs (I'm Not Alone and Sweet Nothing), 2 he featured on (Dance Wiv Me and We Found Love), 2 where he had uncredited production (Holiday and Call My Name) and 2 which he made popular remixes of (Spectrum and Eat Sleep Rave Repeat). He's had 2 #1 albums in the same period as well of course).
I'd love to be able to travel back in time to early 2007 and tell people that bloke who sings on 'Acceptable in the 80s' will have tons of #1s and be one of the biggest DJ/remixing megastars on the planet in a few years. Would probably get some very odd looks...

Also let's not forget Fatboy Slim has had a huge hit as recently as 2012 - he produced Rizzle Kicks' 'Mama Do The Hump'!
She definitely shouldn't have. It would've killed the ARTPOP era.

And that's a bad thing, how? :kink:
