Most of her songs are irritating beyond belief - especially 'Not Fair'. 'The Fear' is probably the only song of hers I would listen to out of choice.

I do agree, she's very overrated and not very talented. The second album was a bit more bearable though.

Smile was the only song that ever annoyed me really, just because I heard it way too much to enjoy it...

Well The Power of Love was released on the 9/11 last year so hopefully this weekend at some stage, maybe a challenger for next weeks no1 or in the coming weeks!

They had both entered the top 200 by this time last year though, (Mariah on 7th, The Pogues on 8th).

 

Mariah broke the top 100 on 15th, The Pogues not till 23rd. However, The Pogues had two versions close together in the top 200 around #120, so would have been top 100 combined probably from around 18th!
