I'd like the Big Reunion guys to get it. It's for charity as well, for ITV's Text Santa. Maybe Leona or Kelly Clarkson.

It's increasingly looking like a one horse race for the Xmas No1, with only the X Factor winner likely to sell in large numbers. :(

Corals still make it odds against that the X-Factor winner is the Christmas Number One, so if you're that confident that Cowell's latest puppet will top the charts, go to their site and fill your boots.

I would love anything except the latest X Factor puppet to be number 1 but unfortunately we all know that the winner will be number 1 :puke2:

Last year was a charity single involving a cover of a 40 year old Hollies song to raise money for a 20 year old disaster, so I'm betting on 'The Air That I Breathe' by The Lockerbie Collective to hit the top.

The Honeyz & 911 getting the Xmas #1 would be quite *.* but it will obviously be the X Factor winner this year.

Would be lovely for Leona to get it with "One More Sleep", a great original Christmas song. It's been a while since we've had one of those become the Christmas #1.

 

P.S: I do realise that the chances of it happening are like 1/1,000,000.

I really think the Big Reunion single will give the X Factor one a good run for it's money, and personally I hope BR does beat XF. Not sure about ElBo (or is it SuVis?), but it'll probably either fly or bomb. Does anyone know what label is behind the Big Reunion single? I know XF, BGT and ElBo are all Syco, so I'm really hoping Mr Cowell doean't have fours fingers in the pie this year....

I was quite disappointed they used such a mainstream and radio-friendly RATM track when they've got so much anti-establishment stuff in their discography. "Guerilla Radio" anyone?

I wouldn't mind the X Factor winner's song if it wasn't a surefire number 1, or if it wasn't released around Christmas, but it just makes things so predictable :( I look forward to the day when people realise how terrible the X Factor is and stop watching, or it ends for good.

They've done that before (Hallelujah) but the result was utterly atrocious. The only good news was that the sublime Jeff Buckley version finally became a hit.
