With combined versions :

1 Lily Allen - Somewhere Only We Know 100%

2 Gary Barlow - Let Me Go 81%

5 Bastille - Of the Night 67%

Go Lily ! :cheer:

Bastille are actually on 77% - you haven't taken into account their other version at number 30. Whilst I agree Lily will most likely win this, Bastille could well be number 2 with their EP sales :)

I know it's already made the top 100 officially but on iTunes,

Can't believe Sail is just getting attention in the UK now?! Wasn't it originally released in 2011?

I think so. Can't Hold Us was also first released in 2011.

Loadsa songs are released really late here not just because they are held back either. Look at Storm Queen it was first played on radio here in 2010!!!

Cant believe Christmas Lights by Coldplay is so low in the xmas songs list not even top 1000 yet!!

Coldplays Christmas Lights and all the Killers Christmas single are far to ignored at Christmas time.
 34 Avicii- Hey Brother

Will be huge of course.

Agreed cant wait to hear them on my ipod!!

Am I right in thinking that Mariah and even The Pogues were both considered fairly "underrated" right through the 1990s? It was only from about the early-mid noughties they started to get huge airplay, perhaps a combination of Kirsty MacColl's death for FONY and Love Actually for AIWFCIY.

Maybe in another ten years we'll be absolutely sick of hearing Coldplay and The Killers at Christmas :P

Im not sure tbh, but The Pogues got a 1991 re-release and charted in the low top 40 so id say people always loved it but as you say they have taken on a life of their own in the noughties!

JLS are down to #29, this is a pretty major disaster. :o I knew it'd probably miss the top 10, but that's a lot worse than I imagined.

Shame it's better than about 90% of their other output.

"All I Want For Christmas Is You" went to #2 at Christmas in '94 and from that point on has been massively overplayed at Christmas. TV adverts, supermarkets, christmas compilations, local radio - it has been everywhere in December since 1994. Sadly. :(

'Christmas Lights' has been by far the most resilient Christmas song of the last few years (re-entered the top 100 in December of both 2011 and 2012) and probably along with 'Christmas Time (Don't Let The Bells End)' it's the closest thing the 21st century has to a new Christmas classic. Really hope it can make another appearance this year, though it's not doing too well so far :(

Looks like The Pogues should be on to re-enter the top 100 this week :D Though they are lagging behind Mariah a little bit longer than they did last year. (Though isn't this the first year Mariah has been on the Now Xmas album or am I making that up? That may be aiding her this year if so).

 #96 - Rihanna - What Now

Hopefully this can keep rising, it's just been added to the Radio 1 playlist and Capital will probably be adding it too. If she can get an X Factor performance as well (which is likely, she's on at least once every year) she should have another Top 20 hit in the bag.

Another 1D song clogging the top half of the iTunes chart! :mansoncheer: At least it won't be charting officially.
