Yea 2 weeks for calvin would have been ideal - hate constant weekly no1s. Sales will be so low something random from XF could be no1 next week id say!

Just shows everyone wants to release all their big songs in november avoiding the xmas no1 race because its a foregone conclusion and so we have stagnant 3 weeks before xmas no1 week.

Looks like 1D will get #1 on sales of possibly under 50k :drama: I'm not a Calvin Harris fan, but i'd rather he kept it another week out of the main contenders (the song may be bland as hell, but at least it's got HURTS on it)

This time last year Gabrielle Aplin ended with 57,515 for the week, looks like the #1 could match it.

 34. Pharrell Williams - Happy

 47. The Killers - Christmas in LA (feat. Dawes)

 81. Chase & Status - Alive (feat. Jacob Banks)

 110. CHVRCHES - Lies

 132. London Grammar - Nightcall

 191. John Newman - Losing Sleep

No Killers xmas song top 40 this year then :(

Awesome to see Kid Ink in the top 40! :D One of my favourite songs of the past couple of months. Hopefully it can be DJ Mustard's 2nd UK top 40 hit.

I'm annoyed that All About She have missed the top 10 on iTunes. :( It's such a masterpiece imo.

The Killers will nose dive for the remainder of the week, it always happens with their Christmas singles which is so frustrating.

46 & 60 Leona Lewis - One More Sleep

I will not accept to be One More Flop to her career.. :arrr:

 62 & 193 Chase & Status - Alive (feat. Jacob Banks)

:cheer:

157 & 170 Kelly Clarkson - Underneath the Tree

This deserves to be (at least) a Top 40 for her..Amazing Christmas song..

Thankfully, it looks like a pretty good possibility that 1D can make #1 in their sixth week top 10 :cheer:

That is nothing to cheer about.

hopefully Lily or Calvin can knock them off and get them out of the charts for good!

"Til It's Gone" should be the third single (with "Alien" fourth), but it'll probably be "It Should Be Easy". It doesn't matter what they pick for the third single in the UK as radio stations won't play it anyway (and at best perform like Ke$ha's "Crazy Kids").

Work Bitch is in need of a 59p price reduction. I would scrap 'Perfume' as the 2nd single and release something like Til It's Gone, Body Ache, Now That I found You, or It Should Be Easy'.

You've made your point before. They're not going anywhere just yet thankfully :cheer:

Of all the songs people are cherry picking from the Britney album, I am surprised 'It Should Be Easy' is the one getting the most sales besides Work Bitch. For me, that is one of the more average tracks that leaves no impression on me. I think they should stick with Perfume as single #2. Just get that video out pronto with plenty of radio and TV support (plus some decent remixes to keep the clubs interested) and it should do alright. The only other singles for me are Alien and Tik Tik Boom, but wouldn't mind Till It's Gone (if it gets a really good video).
I don't get the hate for One Direction .. I think that their music is really catchy and fun and in this case, I believe that 'Story of My Life' is one of their best, I completly love this track! Got my tickets to see them in Madrid!
I don't mind their music too much (the cover of One Way or Another/Teenage Kicks apart), it's just they come across as complete prats in the media. (and prats is the toned down word from what I originally intended to post there!) I know they're just young lads "living the dream" but at face value, that's what I think.
3 versions of 'Fairytale Of New York' now inside the top 100! Didn't see that 3rd version sneaking in (it has only just got in there due to being reduced to 59p and is climbing quite rapidly). They're now not far off overtaking Mariah combined. Still happening. *.*
59p? The desperation.
Mariah also has a version at 59p that is just outside the top 100. (so scratch what I just said possibly, oops)
She obviously did that just to not let their evil tricks win.
