I'm interested to see how well the X Factor winner does. Were James's sales last year just because of how insanely popular he was, or are Little Mix-type sales more to be expected for a series with ratings as low as this one?

 

Sometimes I think it's just down to how good the record is. Impossible is one of the best winner's singles there's been. Also the charity thing helped.

 

Can anyone tell me what the story is with the Altern8 record? Didn't know there was a new version out.

I think it is for charity again this year so should still well. I still think Sam Bailey will sell alot more than dull and boring Nicholas would

Yeah I think so as long as it's a good record Sam's winning song will be another fairly big seller. Hoping the rumours are true and it's Skycraper. I can hear her singing it already.

On another note as much as I love Human & Mr Brightside, I'm pretty disappointed The Killers didn't perform 'Just Another Girl' on the X Factor last night, it could of been another big hit for them.

'One More Sleep' looks like becoming the first really big new Chtistmas song for many years, well since Mariah Carey in 1992.

It's a pity it won't be no.1 but Leona can hardly complain about being denied by the X-Factor.

People need to stop moaning about the X factor being #1, if it wasn't for its impending release we'd have the xmas #1 selling 50k this week.

Why is Gaz's name capitalised on that piece of noise?

 

Also, looking at what's being released this week, I actually wouldn't mind the X Factor winner getting #1.
