I'm honestly not that interested with how it does in week #1 because I do feel like they have a long-term plan for this record.

I'd assume it'll go top ten, potentially top five. What happens after is what I'm interested in.

Yeah I think she's onto a top 10 album in the UK, I really hope so anyway. Sales aren't exactly great at this time of year and Praying has done reasonably well so far (with the potential to grow too).

*stalls in the 60s*

No matter how much I love to troll, I have to say this is one of the most confident album campaigns I've seen. They have a product they want to present and hopefully that'll translate into sales.

It's like a stunning mix between past-Kesha and nu-Kesha.

Can't get enough. xo

Rate based on first impressions/first listen:

06.5 bast*rds (the ending makes it more interesting but I think it's a bit of a weak opener)

06.5 Let 'Em Talk

08.0 Woman

09.0 Hymn

09.0 Praying

09.5 Learn To Let Go

07.0 Finding You

06.0 Rainbow (not sure what I make of this, think it is too overly sweet for my tastes)

05.5 Hunt You Down (again, another case of it not being bad, but just not really my thing)

07.0 Boogie Feet

09.0 Boots (by far the most likable track not previously released, middle 8 is amazing. can see this becoming an absolute fav)

06.0 Old Flames

05.0 Godzilla

07.0 Spaceship

A tad disappointed, only because the standard of the promo singles were so high. I think these scores are actually pretty harsh and I do think all the tracks are actually well-done and executed to a high standard. I just personally love pop Ke$ha and I am just finding a lot of it just a little too far away from that for me. The promo singles and 'Boots' are great though and I will keep them on repeat. I just don't think the rest is my kinda thing really... maybe it will grow.

I'm gonna refrain from listening till I receive my copy on friday, this is gonna be tough :(

If you can't handle these claws, you don't get . . . this . . . kitty

'Boots' is so fun, definitely the standout. 'Godzilla' is so cute though!

I love bast*rds, but a lot of this is really not for me.

I imagine Boots is going to be the fave around here

Lots of love for this on first listen  I'd only heard Praying and Woman in advance, and while Praying remains my clear favourite, there's a lot to enjoy elsewhere. Learn to Let Go, Boots, Rainbow and Godzilla are my other favourites on first play! Old Flames is probably my least favourite really.

Well the promo tracks we've heard before were definitely chosen perfectly. The album is NICE on first listen but it doesn't reach the dizzying heights of 'Animal' or 'Warrior'. I am going to give it a lot more time because I think (similarly to 'Joanne') it demands that.

There are wonderful lyrics and moments throughout and 'Boots' is an absolute JAM so I am excited with what we've got and can't wait to get my teeth into it. IIRC my first listen of 'Warrior' was fairly underwhelming and now that's one of my all-time favourite pop albums so there's hope ~

Ooooh I like the album, Boots is gooood! At one point Keshas harmony sounds a bit like Katy Perry and when she's singing about Walking On Air and Claws, with that air of late noughties pop, it just gets me dreaming of some Kesha, Katy Perry, Gaga collab fantasy!
Been listening to Praying quite a lot recently and I ABSOLUTELY love it and not just that last minute and a half. That said does anyone else think it doesn't translate live well at all? Just started listening to this on Spotify, bast*rds doesn't seem like the best album opener, I think Praying would be better here, imo.
So I'm the only one adoring 'Let Em Talk'? It's very 'All I Ever Wanted' era Kelly and I love it! *.*
She has a nice voice on the song but that rendition of 'Old Flames' is really not the tea.. And Dolly has a fantastic harmony voice but for some reason this doesn't work.
This album is amazing  Praying, Rainbow, Spaceship, Godzilla, Finding You and Hymn are my stand outs so far
