15. Do What U Want (feat. Christina Aguilera) - Lady Gaga

29. Do What U Want (feat. R. Kelly) - Lady Gaga

New peak? G'won, Gaga!

The only possible way of getting a new peak next week is if the video comes in the next few days as Lee said. The Christina version will start plummeting down soon enough (although i am shocked it's got this high - much higher than it ever got in the US which actually had the original performance of the song!).

Well there's something mildly interesting to come out of this week after all. Apparently a 2011 MOBO nominee (took him a while to actually get anywhere near the charts after that) and the song is 79p. Poor Hardwell coming to not even get the highest new entry? :P

 29. Better - Mike Hough

 50. Dare You (feat. Matthew Koma) [Radio Edit] - Hardwell

 93. Rather Be (feat. Jess Glynne) - Clean Bandit

:cheer: Top 100 on pre-orders alone. Please let this beat The Vamps, I heard their new song today and although I still really like 'Can We Dance', 'Wild Heart' is EXTREMELY average.

Also top 200 on pre-orders:

161. Feelin' Myself (feat. Miley Cyrus, French Montana, Wiz Khalifa & DJ Mustard) - will.i.am

184. Ready For Your Love (feat. MNEK) - Gorgon City

I really like that Gorgon City song as well, hope that can be a big hit.

I think maybe the reason Fuse ODG and Matrix & Futurebound climbed later in the week last week was because the gift card effect was still in place at the beginning of the week, but wore off towards the end of the week meaning newer songs could climb more.
Who is this Mike Hough and why is he doing better than Hardwell? (no pun intended) I hope Hardwell can at least chart top 40, it's climbing very slowly atm.

I'd rather think some people after the new year's party downloaded a lot of older stuff they've heard on the party (like Avicii - Wake Me Up, that's why it climbed back up to 11), but later these songs dropped a lot and the new ones climbed up again.

93 Clean Bandit - Rather Be (feat. Jess Glynne) on pre orders :cheer:

oops Bre beat me to it -_-

Really hope Rather Be gets to #1, especially over The Vamps. I love it

There really doesnt seem to be much hype at all this january - i mean the only decent selling singles i can see on the release schedule this month are William, Clean Bandit, The Vamps, Gorgon City & Katy B and they are all being held back for a long time which will make for big first week sales but not much excitement in the chart - as usual we will have to hope something comes from no-where!

That said radio 1 are playing Riptide now so hopefully it at least reaches the top 40!

Same happened with their single released on the same week last yr!

Well Ed Sheeran's got some big announcement tomorrow, which is obviously going to be about the release of his his new album in March, and I wouldn't mind betting on him releasing the first single as an OA/OS. If he does then I could see that could doing pretty well.

Hope he does and radio jumps on it quickly but he held back his opening release from +!

He did.....but The A Team was almost 3 years ago now. Wasn't 'I See Fire' released OA/OS? Obviously it's had next to no promotion or airplay so hasn't done great but is back Top 40, but the first single from his new album could do better. We'll have to wait and see. :)

Sophie Ellis-Bextor up to #117 with a song inspired by my former radio show, "Young Blood".

Woah, that's about 700 places higher than I ever thought it would get.

Intrigued to see how the album is gonna do, I'm not expecting anything considering it's got zero hype around it whatsoever.

Mike Hough top forty?! :o He randomly followed me on twitter like 3 years ago that's how I know of him. He's apparently trying to get this to go high to show that unsigned artists can still do well, good for him.

Even though the Strictly Come Dancing promo will probably help her do better as has been proven by how relatively well this song has done?

110. Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Young Blood
