I think Adele Skyfall or Wake em Up which both went top 10!
What's the highest a pre-order has ever been on iTunes? :)

Haha same old question. :D

Avicii - Wake Me Up, it was top 10 (around number 9 or 10 if not a bit higher)

I hope Embrace can manage at least a top 75 hit single with this upcoming era. I am extremely looking forward to their new album.

Where did Blurred Lines get to before it was released 3/4 weeks early last June?

I can't remember exactly, but if I remember well only Avicii made the top 10 on pre-orders alone.

Blurred Lines went top 30, maybe also top 20.

If I have more time (maybe at the weekend), I will do a list of the highest peaking pre-orders on iTunes.

11. Clean Bandit Feat. Jess Glynne - Rather Be (Pre-Order) :o

Wow... Avicii sold 266,524 on its debut week, goodbye The Vamps :D

Would love that but the preorders maybe arent as much with sales a little lower now & Avicii was given an earlier release due to its popularity so it might be different!

Thats a good idea, it could be kept up to date then too :)

That would be really good, I was gonna ask if anyone had done that :)

Blurred Lines was almost definitely around the #10 mark. I have a feeling it may have got to #9? But I may be getting it mixed up with Wake Me Up.

Roar was very high too... This Clean Bandit one is certainly the highest for a UK act ever.

I recall Roar and Talk Dirty reaching #16, Blurred Lines reaching #11 and Wake Me Up reaching #9. I could be wrong about Roar, though!!
It'll be so amazing seeing a Baroque Pop song looking to be a number 1, I imagine that hasn't happened for at least a decade (or ever even)

I don't think will.i.am will be able to beat Clean Bandit's 2nd week sales tbh.

Gorgon City will surely be ahead of Will.I.Am?

I don't know why they moved it back, so stupid of them. He'd have easily got the #1 this week had he released. (not that I'm bothered as I don't like it, but it still doesn't make sense)

Sorry for being stupid but what does 'Baroque' mean?

Amazing 59p featured song jumps this week - All seem to be climbing still.

53. Beyoncé - Halo

54. Demi Lovato - Skyscraper

85. Shakira - Hips Don't Lie (feat. Wyclef Jean)

81. Dizzee Rascal - Love This Town (feat. Teddy Sky)

121. The Saturdays - Disco Love

150. McFly - Obviously

156. Bruno Mars - Gorilla

Damn it Jonjo! As soon as I saw Clean Bandit at #11, I was gonna come here with that post.

I don't think so considering Pharrell looks on for a sales increase this week (so will would have needed well over 100k which I really can't see him managing). Seems he was never going to have a chance at #1 around this time regardless of what specific week he released.

Gorgon City should be a strong contender for #1 that week, though it depends on Clean Bandit's 2nd week sales of course.
