(In all seriousness though I am really shocked at how quickly EP pre-orders have stopped being a thing (or at least a main thing, there are still some but most also have a single pre-order) since single pre-orders started to appear on the singles feed).

 

 

Wish eps would do well again, they used to be surprise entries into the top 40 - like RY X Berlin & the Ben Howard one from last Oct!!

I think Elyar will debut at around #06, Fuse has reduced Elyars' lead to 2.4% which I think Fuse will be able to overcome tonight. If Shakira / Rihanna release this week then I'm positive Elyar will debut at #07.

This is the first time in a while it's re-entered the top 100 - so either it's the first time R1 have played it for ages or it's somehow bucked its trend of diminishing returns. Always great to see it making another resurgence though :D I would love if one of the R1 DJs decided to play it for a whole week to try and get it into the top 40 a la 'I Giorni'.

 

Shakira and Rihanna likely coming for #1 now but Pharrell could be on course for another week over 100k so it might be an interesting battle. Pharrell and Rihanna both vying for their 12th weeks at #1 in the decade to date!
