November 4, 201410 yr Well, to be honest, I don't find that sort of thing shocking at all. They are 19 year olds, of course they want to brag about their sexual exploits, it's only normal. If there is an issue with it it's down to journalists asking questions they oughtn't to be asking just for an easy headline.

But whether the quotes have been twisted or not, it comes across as shockingly unprofessional when they're trying to win the competition. You keep these things behind closed doors and don't give the media any ammunition. It's just really unprofessional.
November 4, 201410 yr Well, they aren't professional so I guess I just take it for what it is. It doesn't bother me at all, at least they're honest about it and aren't trying to play up to a nonsensical and outdated ''good boy'' image.

But there's the good boy image, and keeping things on the coy. I think it was well known James Arthur slept about a lot on X Factor, but I can't remember him ever giving interviews on the show whilst he was pulling girls. Same goes for One Direction, Union J, Luke Friend, Matt Cardle etc.I think there's a subtleness to it. Obviously they haven't been given enough media training!
November 4, 201410 yr Them being ~lads~ doesn't bother me really, it's probably too much to expect a bunch of teenage boys to be classy. However I thought the comment about one of the girls in Only The Young was completely out of order.
November 4, 201410 yr Yeah not really fussed at all with what they get up to behind clothes doors. To make them vow to abstinence/talking about sex while on the show is absurd. The most shocking revelation is diva James Graham bringing girls back :o Either my gaydar is way off or someone is telling porkys~
November 4, 201410 yr I did think that myself, I mean talk about GAYFACE. Then again he is 19. And in a boyband. And on a national TV show.
November 4, 201410 yr I'm starting to find him oddly attractive now too (when he's not pulling the face). They are growing on me in more ways than one :0

Well, I think in the case of James it was more the idea that very few people would actually have found him attractive (beyond the fame), therefore virtually nobody would be interested in his sexual exploits. The rest I don't know, but I think with social media having exploded so much in the last few years that that probably has a factor in the types of stories people are trying to write too.
November 7, 201410 yr This band are a PR nightmare, especially Jake, i mean it is like another day another sh!t storm, 1st the drug thing (which he should have been kicked off for, the same reason Frankie got kicked off), The naked selfie leak, Bragging about sleeping with girls in cheap hotel rooms, slagging of Betsey (The blond one in OTY), the gun sign he pulled in a 'Real Emoji thing' and now this, they should really kick Jake out tbh...but it wont happen...why?....because they need him because he is one of the 4 actually carrying this band which is a shame
November 9, 201410 yr http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/artic...iscarriage.html It's time they get rid of SK, only see bad press about them.
November 9, 201410 yr Lol mess. He is the only decent one too! Vocally I mean ofc. I heard a ridiculous rumour Simon was going to split them into two :drama: whichever one didn't have James would be kind of stuffed.
November 10, 201410 yr http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/artic...iscarriage.html It's time they get rid of SK, only see bad press about them. Now they're onto the tour I don't think they'll be around much longer (fingers crossed).
November 11, 201410 yr Oh that's the one I reckon is gay. bragged about taking a girl back to his hotel & got a girl pregnant before joining the X Factor, the kid ain't gay.
November 13, 201410 yr I've just seen on Facebook, X Factor announce that the Band Aid 30 track & video will get it's premier on this weekends live results show on Sunday. Edited November 13, 201410 yr by Rob S
November 13, 201410 yr oh wow, I imagine there'll be quite a few X Factor acts in it in that case. Simon Cowell must be pretty confident that it won't beat him to Christmas #1 too
November 13, 201410 yr Or maybe he will just LATCH the X Factor WAGON on to this somehow//make it a winners single. He could do anything really, especially now that he seems to be treating the show with a lot more humour/not taking it all that seriously bar the live show ACT.
November 15, 201410 yr I think there's either going to be four in the final or a double elimination at the semis.... It's been confirmed LA Reid will act as mentor to the "five" semi finalists. I think it will be like 2010 and there'll be four in the final.
