I'm really struggling to tell when people are joking on here.

Slipping down to #6 on Friday evening isn't exactly bad? It's been Top 5 ALL week - she should manage another couple of weeks top 20 at least!

How on earth is slipping to 6 just now mean it'll start falling like a brick. It's done really well to remain at 5 for the majority of the week. Pitbull is obviously climbing from the usual weekend effect so I hardly think Katy will bomb for here on out. I think it could potentially manage 9/10 weeks top 40.

We were joking :D

I actually think it could (hopefully) get a new peak in a fortnight's time due to album release and related promotion, presuming she does a good round of performances on This Morning etc.

EDIT:

5 Katy B - Crying for No Reason 0.3032

6 Pitbull - Timber (feat. Ke$ha) 0.3027

In any case, balance and order has been restored to the universe and Katy's campaign is back on track :P

Katy B has held up really well, I'm sure it will manage another 2 weeks top 10 - especially with airplay increasing.

05. Katy B - Crying For No Reason

09. One Republic vs Alesso - If I Lose Myself

15. Katy Perry Feat Juicy J - Dark Horse

17. The Vamps - Wild Heart

21. Shakira Feat Rihanna - Can't Remember To Forget You (Can this go top 10 next week?)

29. Rihanna - What Now :o (Why is this re-entering the top 40) & #111

48. Lorde - Team

91. Ellie Goulding - Goodness Gracious

140. DVBBS & Borgeous Feat Tinie Tempah - Tsunami (It's happening - It's up against Pixie Lott)

1272. Pixie Lott - Nasty (Singles Chart)

458. Pixie Lott - Nasty (EP - Albums Chart)

263. Peter Andre - Kid (Pre-Order)

'What Now' is being used on ITV adverts I believe! So pleased though. Such a brilliant song <3

These ironic chart jokes are so annoying and hardly ever funny tbh.

Pleased for RiRi, What Now deserved much better the first time round.

Amazing to see this underrated producer finally getting a top 40 single

I can't believe the magic that the Shakira and Rihanna video has worked on a song that fallen way out of the top 40. It's at #20 now.

I can - I've *seen* the video... :P

That's a mental image I didn't really need at this time of the morning...

Well the video *is* close to being X-Rated, so night-time might be a more appropriate time for that image...

"I guess it's funnier from where you're standing, cause from over here I missed the joke". :(

I guess it was just a blip then. So good to see her back at 5 so quickly.

I don't think that's what he meant.....

I wasn't a fan of the Rihanna track at first but the ITV adverts have helped to make me realise how great it is!

Lorde deserves to have a hit with this, top 10 looks unlikely but I want it to do well as I think this is so much better than Royals

That DVBBS track will be a number 1 I reckon given its already beating Pixie on pre orders, would be great to have another good year for dance music getting to the top of the charts!

 It wasn't supposed to be some hilarious inside joke. It was just light-hearted, meaningless irony, like when people claim '21' or something is a flop after falling a few places. I thought it was obvious but maybe not :)

Anyway, add me to Team 'Team', delighted to see it nearly top 40 (currently #45).

I know, but from his comment, you'd think I'd said I *participated* in the video. :P

I just hope the DJ Fresh track does not go to #1 next week, I really hate it, otherwise a 3rd week for Clean Bandit, the week after will be interesting if Zedd gets a #1.
