Paolo Nutini finally returns with new single Scream (Funk My Life Up) which can be listened to here:

It's good to hear new music from him and I'm glad to hear more of the soul sound from him. Don't think it's going to reach the levels of Candy, Pencil Full of Lead or 10/10.

i agree with aly. bereft of any charisma, a dull back catalogue and no star quality.

it'll sell bucketloads as ever as it pleases the mass that is the easily-pleased, mother's day contingent.

He's one of the worst people for looking at while they're singing. The whole crouched over thing makes me want to cry.

Heard this last night and it's nothing special at all, much like all of his other stuff.

I don't know about this one. He been gone for over 3 years and Ed Sheeran has cme along since then and done his numbers.

However I think there is room for someone this year to do something similar to what Rod Stewart did last year.

This is one artist I genuinely don't understand the appeal of whatsoever.

Nail meet hammer.

So so dull! With artists like say Michael Bublé who I'm not fond of myself, I can sometimes see the appeal but I really can't see what would be even remotely appealing about Paolo...

Ed Sheeran wishes he could possess some of Nutini's talent. These Streets is an amazing album.

These Streets has to remain one of my fave albums of the 00's, so new Nutini material is always welcome.

Heard this in the car earlier. Radio 1 have made it their track of the day. Ahh I'm loving it so so much now.

Paolo is also one of the first two people announced for Radio 1's Big Weekend in May.
