February 2, 201411 yr 541. Robbie Williams - Angels 1162. Robbie Williams - Angels ;) I feel this'll be a long shot, but good luck nevertheless as I do love the song! Strange. It's not coming up on my feed. I'm using the Live pop bars link I always use: http://www.livepopbars2.com/lpb1024.php?Re...34&Albums=0 I notice A Man For All Seasons is in the Top 1500. Has Johnny English been on ITV again over the weekend?

February 2, 201411 yr I think it could be as successful as a similar campaign for 'Stop' by the Spice Girls a few years ago (that got to #78) I say 'South Of The Border' (or 'Lovelight') should be nominated for this, both criminally underrated in terms of his back catalogue.
February 3, 201411 yr Should have campaigned for 'Rudebox'! (Not even joking. So underrated <3)
February 3, 201411 yr I think it could be as successful as a similar campaign for 'Stop' by the Spice Girls a few years ago (that got to #78) That apparently was done by the Spice Girls' management pretending to be a "fan" campaign, in order to attempt to boost interest in them prior to their forthcoming greatest hits/reunion that year. Or so says Wikipedia. It's hard to imagine that there was ever a time where Angels wasn't the overplayed, cliched monster it is today - similar to how I very briefly enjoyed 'You Raise Me Up' by Westlife but can't listen to it anymore without imaging slow-motion black and white shots of tearful X Factor contestants hugging their families. Astonishing it only got as high as #4 but it was released in one of the most astonishingly high-selling eras of singles sales ever, almost every major release of late 1997/early 1998 selling a million!
February 3, 201411 yr There is a worldwide campaign to get Angels To No1 for Robbie Williams 40th birthday. Wait, he's only just turning 40 this year?! Why did I think he was closer to 50 than 40?
February 3, 201411 yr Wait, he's only just turning 40 this year?! Why did I think he was closer to 50 than 40? Probably because he looks it. Up until 2003 or so he did look really hot as well. :(
February 3, 201411 yr 275 & 415 & 1325. Robbie Williams- Angels Good luck with this though. I notice A Man For All Seasons is in the Top 1500. Has Johnny English been on ITV again over the weekend? Yes Johnny English was shown on ITV on Saturday.
February 3, 201411 yr Should have campaigned for 'Rudebox'! (Not even joking. So underrated <3) THISSS!!! I always thought I was the only person in the world who thought 'Rudebox' was under-rated! So glad I'm not :D
February 4, 201411 yr they should've chosen one of his underrated releases such as Morning Sun which only reached number 45 and should've been a top 10 hit at least, or maybe 'Be a boy' from Take The Crown caus it means so much to him and is about him ageing and being young at heart which is a more appropriate song for a campaign...
February 4, 201411 yr Jessica Simpson's version is much better :( people should just download her version.
February 4, 201411 yr That apparently was done by the Spice Girls' management pretending to be a "fan" campaign, in order to attempt to boost interest in them prior to their forthcoming greatest hits/reunion that year. Or so says Wikipedia. It was definitely a fan campaign! It originated here: http://forums.denden.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=114208 ^_^
February 4, 201411 yr Wasn't he 40 10 years ago? Why "Angels"? I understand its his signature song, but don't Robbie fans want a lesser known song?
February 4, 201411 yr amazon only counts for a small amount of total sales so i would be surprised if it went top 40.
February 4, 201411 yr Why "Angels"? I understand its his signature song, but don't Robbie fans want a lesser known song? I'm guessing the whole idea is they consider it a chart injustice that it didn't get to #1. And Regina, I really did not need reminding of Jessica Simpson's version. :drama:
