Now it's not amazing but I don't mind it at all, I quite like this direction for him and I don't think it's exactly what people would first expect him to come out with. :D

It sounds a bit like a One Direction cast off, pretty bad but I was expecting worse to be fair.

Pretty average for me. Still, at least it's not a Buble-esque ballad or something like Eoghan Quigg - 28,000 Friends.

I think it's pretty poor on first listen. But at least it's not a cover, which is what I was half-expecting. It's very hard to know how the label should market this guy, so it'll be interesting to see how this does.

 

Anyone else think his accent comes through quite strongly in this? I hadn't noticed it in his singing voice before. I wonder if it was intentional - his USP?!

This song would have done very well commercially 10 years ago. Now, in 2014, it's a no-hoper.

He really hasn't got what it takes as a solo artist, he should have ended up in a boy band or something, sure it will probably do ok on the back of X Factor but can't see his career going much beyond 2 singles

He's such an awful "popstar". He just doesn't have that look and always seems really awkward! As bad as this song probably should be, I just can't help but like it. Oops.

Such a basic video. :( The song deserved more, they don't particularly go together at all.

What a boring video. They're not chucking money at his launch then. Shame for the kid.
