5SOS stopped falling so abysmally and I think they are definitely going for a second week in the top-10 now. Maybe #10 but still a top-10.

Hmm I can see John Martin entering around 3/4 next week behind Aloe, Duke & maybe John Legend.

His current pre-order position suggests somewhere between 8-13-ish is more likely. I do hope that it can outdo that though as I personally think it's a phenomenal track.

New single for loveable rogues called honest in the EP top 300 chart

I really don't like 'Anywhere For You', it just sounds like a piss weak SHM reject to me :( Was hoping he'd have a bit more identity than 'the guy from Don't You Worry Child' in his solo career. 'The Man' is okay but the sample is atrocious, actually made me laugh the first time I heard it. Nearly as bad as 'How I Feel'!

The new release I'm rooting for the most next week is actually Paolo Nutini  I hope he can challenge for top 10, if an instant grat from his album can go nearly top 40. The Klaxons song is also quite decent but gathering it's not going to be a big hit (hopefully at least top 40 though?)

'#SELFIE' back down to #11 by the way. And the Tyga version of 'Loyal' has established itself as the 'main' version, it's up to #14 (+ #175) while the East Coast Version has dropped to #46 and the West Coast Version is out of the top 200 entirely.

Not surprised to see Secondcity in the top 200 on pre-orders, it's been high on that Shazam chart which seems to be a fairly strong indicator.

I like the new John Martin song, to me 'Reload' sounded like a piss weak SHM reject.

Also desperately want the Klaxons track to do well, that is ace. I think it'll be about #23 though.

66. Hideaway (In the Style of Kiesza) - Ultimate Dance

Fake versions *.* I wish they'd make a proper comeback.

My early predictions for next week:

01 Aloe Blacc - The Man

08 John Martin – Anywhere For You

14 Paolo Nutini - Scream (Funk My Life Up)

26 Klaxons - There Is No Other Time

63 Gotsome feat The Get Along Gang – Bassline

I agree about the sample in The Man! The song is good otherwise but the sample is kind of unneeded imo. I wouldn't listen to it out of choice, but it'd be an ok #1.

I pretty much think they're all spot on.

I hope Paolo misses the top 20 though, but #14 sounds about right.

i think it'll be something like this:

#1 Aloe Blacc

#7 John Martin

#11 Paolo Nutini

#40 Klaxons

#76+ Gotsome

a bit odd Bassline seems to have been snubbed by R1 (wasn't it their 'track of the day' at one point?). can't rly tell if Klaxons will make the top 40, might scrape in i guess

Aloe Blacc maybe, unless Kiesza drops her single early there is a fake version of Hideaway appearing already :( #66

Without meaning to sound like steve201, they really need to release it earlier than its proposed date as that's ridiculous. This week would be good.

It's still going to have massive first week sales though.

pre-order update

I hope John Newman makes top 40 with his next single.

I can't believe Joel Compass has a pre-order almost as high as The Saturdays.

The Saturdays Pre-Order is only 59p. :o Shame really as I do really like Not Giving Up. The E.P should do well though.

Scream & Shout  #152

Anyone know why this is climbing? It was around #500 when I last looked last week.

Kiesza should easily go to #1 with massive sales no matter what week it's released on I think, but releasing after Aloe Blacc and Sigma will minimise competition and increase her chances so I can't see the record label releasing it any sooner than its expected release date
I wonder which version of 'Loyal' will be played on the chart show! (Probably whichever version 1Xtra is playing, assuming that they are doing so.)
