March 23, 201412 yr I was hoping this would have dropped out :( I guess his performance on the voice helped?
March 23, 201412 yr It looks like Stupid Love won't be top 40, which is a shame as it's quite a good track from Derulo.
March 23, 201412 yr It's ok, we understand that English is your first language, so no bother. I get that you are excited for Little Mix :D :w00t: glad you understand me :w00t: My English is not so good
March 23, 201412 yr Author 9- MUSIC TO WATCH GIRLS BY- Andy Williams (33,000) Why did this return to the chart? An advert for Fiat punto :D
March 23, 201412 yr I heard the live performance of 'Stupid Love' on The Voice, sounded like a ripoff of Justin Timberlake's 'Cry Me A River' (in the instrumental at least). That is to say, it's probably a lot better than this.

Finding success with his intimate, Bon Iver-influenced songs, Joy decided to put law on hold and pursue a music career instead. Born James Keogh, the singer took the name Vance Joy from a character Peter Carey's novel Bliss in order to better separate his personal and professional life. As his reputation grew, he began working with a manager, booking bigger shows around town and eventually recorded his debut EP God Loves You When You're Dancing. His catchy folk-pop single "Riptide" was an immediate success in Australia and eventually led him to sign a lengthy multi-album deal with Atlantic Records. In 2013, Joy began touring internationally and recording his first album for Atlantic. - iTunes Chart history (Year peak title): 2014 10 Riptide -NAS-
March 23, 201412 yr Riptide is gorgeous. Like Jameela, I'm sad to see that it's on the way out.
March 23, 201412 yr Looks like it's Vance Joy's last week then. It's a pity, it's a wonderful song, glad it stuck around for as long as it did.
March 23, 201412 yr Great to see Vance Joy cling into the Top 40! :D Shame Derulo is still in though :(
March 23, 201412 yr Funny seeing B*Witched and Boyzone in the 1999 top 2, considering Shane Lynch is the brother of the twins in B*Witched. I wonder if any other siblings have ever battled it out for the top spot? As soon as I heard Jason performed 'Trumpets' on The Voice, I somehow knew it'd mean he'd manage another week in the top 40 :(.

(UK) Sales: 500k+ Video here: an4ySOlsUMY Biography Ellie Goulding is a British vocalist whose music finds the balance between electro-pop and indie folk. Born in Hereford, England, she later moved to the country's east coast to study drama at the University of Kent. Goulding had developed a love for folk music as a teenager, and her time at University also exposed her to electronica. After two years, she took a break from her studies and moved to West London, where she pursued a career as an alternative singer/songwriter and befriended producers like Starsmith and Frankmusik, who gave her songs an electro-pop twist. In 2009, Goulding began building an audience via the internet, where early tracks like "Starry Eyed" and a cover of Sam Sparro's "Black & Gold" were posted on taste-making MP3 blogs such as Discodust. Goulding soon graduated from the blogosphere to print media, gaining praise from mainstream publications like The Guardian and fielding offers from record labels. She ultimately signed a major-label deal with Polydor Records and began making preparations to release her debut album. In the meantime, she penned songs for Diana Vickers, Gabriella Climi, and others. During the final weeks of 2009, Goulding topped the BBC's "Sound of 2010," a poll conducted by British music critics and industry insiders to identify new talent. Building on that momentum, she released Lights — a sparkling debut album that splashed Goulding's vocal flutter across a landscape of acoustic and synthesized instruments — in March 2010. Lights topped the U.K. charts during its first week and spun off a Top Five single, "Starry Eyed," which also charted well in Ireland and New Zealand. Later that year, the album was re-released as Bright Lights, featuring seven new recordings (including a cover of Elton John's "Your Song," which peaked at number two). In 2012, Goulding returned with her sophomore album, Halcyon, which showcased an even more sonically adventurous, electro-pop-infused sound. In 2013, a deluxe reissue featuring ten extra songs was released, entitled Halcyon Days, it acted as supplement to the original release. ~ Andrew Leahey & Jason Birchmeier, Rovi / iTunes Chart history (Year peak title): 2009 53 Under The Sheets -1- 2010 04 Starry Eyed -2- 2010 26 Guns And Horses -3- 2010 19 The Writer -4- 2010 12 Wonderman (Tinie Tempah Feat.
