April 1, 201412 yr Good to see "Empire" at #19. That has grown on me massively since her The Voice performance. Also, hopefully Sam Bailey gets a second week at #1 in the albums, for consistency reasons.
April 1, 201412 yr I'm sure 5SOS will get back into the top 10 by the end of the week but I really wasn't expecting them to be outside it even in the mids. V amusing. Paolo funking their wigs up ~ Very boring singles chart this week, only really interesting news there is HAIM continuing to climb a bit - 'If I Could Change Your Mind' has massively clicked with me in the last couple of days, glad to see it might outpeak 'Don't Save Me' (their weakest single to date) :wub: I suppose it's cool that 'Empire' is top 20 too. And I would hope Klaxons can hang onto the top 40, not a big fan of the new song but it'd make up to some extent for the amazing 'Echoes' missing out. 'The Man' looks like it should be another 100k+ selling #1, only had 2 #1s so far this year that didn't sell 100k+ at least once (DVBBS and 5SOS), hope we can keep that up all year! And *.* at Kaiser Chiefs getting that midweek #1 album - I highly doubt they'll hold on as their lead isn't particularly big and Sam Bailey/George Michael will probably sell better later in the week (especially as George has a TV show thing to boost him back so I think he'll probably get #1). Should at least be a return to the top 3 for them for sure though, who'd have thought after how terribly their last album did! 'Pure Heroine' sneaking back into the top 40 as well :D Quite surprised at that seeing as it plummeted out of the top 50 last week but I guess it is a slower week this week.

April 1, 201412 yr A spectacular midweek chart this time around with the divine Paolo Nutini in the Top 10 and Kaiser Chiefs at #1 in albums :wub: they'll most likely fall by Sunday but I'm still so happy for them, finally a breeze of quality music into the charts!!! :D
April 1, 201412 yr Katy Perry is back ahead of 5SOS in iTunes and she is surely will benefit from the weekend effect more, so a #11 is still possible for them. However, Enrique is falling fast too, and 5SOS may take his place instead.

April 2, 201412 yr I think the singles lasted alot longer than its second week slump suggested & shes on Graham Norton on friday so it should stay for another week!
