Here's the Full Story:

FURIOUS Simon Cowell has fired X Factor champion James Arthur over a shocking new song glamorising terrorism.

The lyrics of the foul-mouthed track — in which James raps: “I’m gonna blow up your family like I’m a terrorist” — was the final straw for the music mogul.

The 26-year-old will now be booted from Cowell’s Syco label, despite recording only one album.

It is a massive fall from grace for the heavily-tattooed 2012 winner, who was tipped to become more successful than Robbie Williams.

But Cowell, publicly attacked by James on Twitter, has lost patience after a series of scandals involving sex, drugs and homophobia.

A music source said: “It seems James is self-destructing.

“He has done himself no favours with his outbursts. It’s as if he’s almost willing Syco to drop him.

“Simon and Syco have been extremely loyal to James throughout his problems but there’s only so much they are prepared to put up with

“It feels like the end of the road for him at Syco. James has been his own worst enemy.”

The terrorist reference is on new song Follow the Leader which James is releasing direct to fans on rap mixtape All The World’s A Stage.

The full lyrics are:“Look at what you do to me, I’m crying over stupid s***, you’re such a f***ing homophobe, wish I’d never let you in, to think that I was thinking maybe I should let you live, I’m gonna blow up your family like I’m a terrorist.”

Friends say the song references negative reactions the singer has had from members of the public.

James tweeted the song was from the point of view of a “demented fan”. He added: “Can’t wait for you to hear it in context!” But a music insider said: “It was idiotic for him to invoke images of suicide bombers no matter what the context.

“It’s not the sort of material a mainstream company like Syco or show like The X Factor want to be associated with.”

James, who has more than two million Twitter followers, has previously boasted of his outspoken approach compared with former X Factor winners who were “too afraid to say anything”.

But he has also infuriated his record label bosses by bragging about drugs on another new song where he raps: “I can smoke my weed, you can drink rosé, all day.”

On a third new song, he sings: “Did you f*** them s****? Not guilty.”

James, mentored by Nicole Scherzinger on the ITV show, also recently hit out at Cowell on Twitter.

He wrote and then deleted: “Certain people in the industry have really illustrated points I’ve made known in interviews.

“The fact that one man’s opinion can cause those people to be so below the belt is really confusing to me. Somebody should have told me to ‘shut up and just put out records’.” James previously riled Cowell and Syco bosses by lashing out at One Direction — their biggest success story.

Last month he took to Twitter comparing his plight to the “exploited” SeaWorld killer whale Tilikum — who has killed two trainers and a trespasser in Florida.

A drawing of the whale features on the cover to his mix tape, which he will release later this month.

He also lashed out at his PR staff, asking them to “stick to promoting” former Britain’s Got Talent winner Paul Potts.

James had been given one last chance in December after giving an exclusive interview to The Sun on Sunday where he told of his “deep, deep shame” at his indiscretions and begged for a second chance.

He said: “I regret everything I’ve done. People see me as a monster.

“I’ve been an idiot. All I can say is it was ego — foolish, foolish pride. I got ideas above my station and I made mistakes. It’s the only excuse I’ve got.”

James, from Middlesbrough, who used to sleep on park benches and steal food before hitting the big time, added: “What I need you to know is that I do regret everything I’ve done. I abandoned my responsibility as a role model.

“Syco represents One Direction, Il Divo and Susan Boyle — highly respected, big-selling artists. They don’t have anyone who goes around talking like I do. I let down my label and my fans.”

James’s full public apology convinced Syco bosses he deserved to be able to prove himself.

But the source said: “He’s blown it now. James was given a lot of special treatment that no other artist signed to a record label like Syco would get.

“The top bosses there were prepared to go ahead with another album and try and rehabilitate James with the public.

“But he had to be prepared to actually change and take some responsibility. He’s made it clear that’s not going to happen.

“It’s a very sad and messy way for this to all end.”

Syco declined to comment.

I hope he still releases his rap mix-tape, im curious to hear it.
In the eloquent words of Adele: '[HE] COULD HAVE HAD IT AAAAAAAAAaaaAAALLLLLLL'. This guy's attitude frustrates me so much. He used to sleep on park benches for God's sake.

I don't think his dropping is surprising, but I'm not sure I imagined it like that!

Although he's made it clear he's too 'credible' for the likes of SyCo and looks down on the X Factor in general, so not like he needs THEM right?

That James Arthur comparison to the killer whale was really funny to me when I read it some days ago.

I #love this pic so much.

...is it wrong now to look forward to what thing he does next, whether be a rant or something just... silly?

This was a long time coming and he'll have a hard time trying to find a new label. Vile human being
He is close to having the biggest selling X-Factor single of all-time though, and currently has the 9th biggest selling single of the 2010s (though will be overtaken by Pharell's "Happy" soon). I agree though that he is awful and always have really - even since he won in 2012.
wow. I thought he couldn't get any worse, but he just did! He's a perfect example of how having a bad personality can really kill your career.
My thoughts exactly. How it ever won the X Factor in the first place....

He has no charisma and the personality of a wet fish. His voice is average and he looks like he needs a shower. I have no idea what the appeal is

No loss there then. I always disliked him and don't think he's talented in the slightest which a lot of others have always claimed. People gave Matt Cardle as much grief for less but he handled it much better. I hope we never hear from this twerp again.
What a c**t.
Does he not have mental health problems? There was talk about him considering suicide at one point.
I don't want to sound like I am going on, but even in the photograph at the top he looks so smug

Nail, meet hammer.

"Shocking new incident" really? Not a lot of what he does comes as a shock anymore...

Anyway, I did like some of his music (Impossible was amazing anyway, even though the original was tonnes better and it's a shame that's relatively forgotten), but even on XF his attitude was vile. I have absolutely no idea why he went on there, I liked his performances of SOS and Let's Get It On among others but he always seemed like he thought he was above the show. If he was that cool, credible and independent he'd have made it without the show, but he barely made it after the show if you exclude Impossible.

To be honest I don't find the terrorist reference that offensive. It's an ill thought out analogy. But his attitude f***ing stinks.
