I can see Black Widow being a Where Have You Been kind of hit. Sounds like it should be bigger but doesn't quite fulfill it's potential, not that reaching the top 10 is bad at all!

I think it'll easily go top 10 in the US, probably top 5. Post-album singles seem to do a lot better in the US than they do in the UK. For example Katy Perry has had loads of post-album singles go #1, whilst in the UK she's had none manage it.

I think she should go ahead and release this to radio, within a week or two.

Yeah, the inclusion of airplay (and streaming to a lesser extent) being the difference I would say.

It's being sent to US radio real soon and since theyre supposed to shoot the video anytime now we should get the UK release date as well? Unless the planned album re-release for later this year will mess up with the singles plans in the UK

Is there any difference except that it's been censored? Either way, I'm so glad this is the next single/hope it's a massive smash.

There's extra YEAAAAHAHEAH's in the chorus and it's a little shorter

 

I don't like it as much as the original tho, mainly because they edited out breakdowns :drama:

I do prefer the original but it's good to hear that there's a radio edit now, hopefully it's been sent to radios with a release date!

I like the new Ad-libs from Rita but the 'YEAHHH' parts sound really out of place in the song they've also cut the breakdown after Rita's chorus to short .

I'm just happy things are finally beginning for this song

Well I think Fancy could've been even bigger on radio than it is now.

With Black Widow getting added like mad, Fancy's audience will obviously fall.

I think another single is needed particularly for the UK as the album had freefallen really quickly. Hopefully the album will recover after the release
