Just because you can post any updates you want in this thread doesn't mean you should. If Ryan wants to continue making himself an obvious target he should not react in such a humourless way when someone decides to respond to that. I'm sure none of you had any problems with Pablo Escobar's random updates being criticised.

I don't want to go off topic here but I just want to have the opportunity to reply as I didn't realise it'd create such a reaction. As much as I am a fan of Lena and do care about her progress up the chart which is interesting to me at least, my Lena updates are with humour as I remember someone noticed as soon as I made the first update several weeks ago and I know that only a small handful of people care about them. However, I had received many replies of a similar type to the one I received in this thread and I was just fed up of it so the overreaction wasn't just about the post in this thread but the build up from a series of posts all over the forum that have been directed to me. I know I'm not the most exciting poster and often don't give my opinion often enough on things I do post about, but I don't need to be pulled up on it every time I don't give a full opinion about whatever I've posted.

 

Anyway, don't worry Arrs as while Lena's climb up the chart seems to have stopped, with Klingande being playlisted there is plenty of opportunity for some updates there! :D

I know I'm being idealistic as always, but I want to live in the world where won't be *any* "easy targets" Bray. :P Now we basically live in the "if you're not a bitch then you're beige" one, and that's where all of us should be prepared to.

why must you have such a victim complex? it's such an unflattering quality. as i keep saying i have no problem with you. i make jokes towards lots of different people, myself included.

To me, it's just apparent that you both don't share the same humours and that's all there is to it. Jake, you have a dry sense of humour. Ryan, evidently doesn't, and takes them as digs, such as (one from another thread) like:

That is, I would imagine, you having a laugh. If he doesn't take it that way, I don't think it's him playing "the victim", it's just not him taking your humour the way you design it to be. Sarcasm isn't immediately identifiable over a forum and that's all it seems to be between the two of you, nothing of an arguing matter, just a difference of humours and personalities.

how have you suddenly grabbed a range of quotes from over a wide span of time so quickly? i assume he's sent you the quotes and you are now speaking on his behalf? i'm not having a go at you and i respect you are trying to play peacemaker but the fact ryan won't take the time to speak for himself or to me directly says a lot.

 

the language ryan is using is totally that of a victim complex. i've made a few quips, i've made it clear to him in pms i have no problem with him, my humour has always been clear across the forum. he is evidently totally unable to take a joke. it's really annoying tbh because i don't want to be painted as some sort of nasty person. he really needs to get a grip.
