Mr Brightside gives me a slight issues its download sales alone are now just over 700k (about 702k to be exact) which should put it just outside the Top 100........oh well

Well you can't expect these countdowns to actually be accurate, there always seems to be some problem with them! :P Does that figure not count download sales from before download sales were eligible for the chart?

And I see 'Troublemaker' didn't outsell 'Dance With Me Tonight' after all. Thought it did!

I've got total sales of 766,000, but that includes the physicals from 2004 - are these likely to be higher than 20K?

'S&M' being higher than... pretty much every song below it seems odd. I know it's a Rihanna song but I really don't remember it being particularly massive?! Okay then.

I was thinking the same then I remembered it was stuck at #3 behind 'Price Tag' and 'Someone Like You' so must have garnered pretty sizeable sales during its peak!

LOVED hearing Mr. Brightside again, potentially one of my all-time favourite songs (I know that's cliché but seeing it live just reinforced my liking for it even more).

Where's VIDCAPPER when you need him

The ultimate trickle seller, amazing that a song that never made the top ten (and barely amassed any weeks in the top 20!) has outsold so many massive #1's!

Has to be one of the best trickle sellers ever as that chart run doesn't exactly scream massive.

For a song with just one week in the top 20 its sales are phenomenal :D

I'm not sure it can quite claim that title when 'Mr. Brightside' exists, with its singular week in the top 20 (long before downloads even took off) and only 6 weeks in the top 40 :P

Rage Against The Machine YES. Seems to have sold a fair amount even outside of that one week!

The 'ultimate' portion of my statement referred to it never even reaching the top ten.

Always good to hear Rage Against The Machine, the oldest song on the chart so far (originally 1993) and memories of the infamous time that Bruno Brookes played out the uncensored version on the chart show. :D
I made a Facebook page to the effect of ANYTHING BUT X FACTOR 4 XMAS #1!!!! the Sunday before the Christmas 2009 chart week started. After I made it I saw the RATM page and my heart sank, knowing my campaign would never get off the ground :(
