Ugh, every time I think Let It Go it about to go away, it starts rising again... I guess it deserves top 10 after all this time in the chart and considering what a phenomenon the film has become, but I still can't really get into it.

Summer for #1 this week so we can have the top 4 being the last four #1s in order, as said before - also I'm quite enjoying this changeover rate, I much prefer it to songs staying at the top by default because there are no new releases!

Could this FINALLY be Adele Dazeem's week?

I don't think any of the recent #1s would have had a second week by default though considering they only fell to #2 the following week.

I very much like a high turnover of #1s, makes the chart a bit fresher than just having the same song there for weeks. Wish these #1s were better though, Summer is awful and Waves/Hideaway aren't much better.
I'd laugh my head off if Let It Go went top ten half a year after the film it came from was released. How bizarre.
 #1: Calvin Harris

Didn't see that one coming. :o This chart remains so unpredictable week after week! :o

Lol and I doubt the 80-100k Calvin could sell this week will cancel out the massive amount of sales he has lost in the past month when it was released by mistake it was top 30

Don't worry when sales collapse (as they will) we can all laugh at the record companies who brought this on themselves. :D

Oh yes, I forgot about that! Should find out next weekend how many sales he lost. It was only a couple of hours it was on sale for though, right?

He could have sold 30-80k for the past 4 weeks and sold more but they'd rather hold it back for a month and chart at 1/2 with 90k sales!

Hope they do tell us that info though but they might not have counted any if the sales officially!

Yeah. I wouldn't think it would of sold more than a few hundred copies within that time really, so unless he loses out on Number 1 next week by a few hundred copies, I doubt anyone would be losing sleep over it.

Surely he can't have lost more than 2k sales for that. If I remember correctly it was a weekday at 10-ish that it was released, not usually a peak sales time is it?

opps not 2k

1k tops

:ne: 145. Cher Lloyd - Bind Your Love

This is the latest instant download track from Cher's new album!

Really do not understand how Idina is STILL climbing, but from a chart stats perspective (:magic:) it's at least quite interesting that we could be looking at a song that only makes the top 10 in its 21st week in the chart. That can't have happened many times before.
They used Let It Go quite heavily in a feature on Radio 1 today. Might explain a few extra sales?
Why is Heavy Seas of Love by Damon Albarn gone top 40? I would've thought he'd be solely an album seller.

Probably because it's an instant grat and like you said he's an album seller so he has pre-orders to propel him into the top 40

It's an instant grat. Its entry position was just based on all of the album pre-orders so far.

It was obvious that this was going to #1, I don't think he will be #1 on iTunes all week though but he should get the official number 1.
