I've changed the title so it reads like every iTunes thread (and no it wasn't me who changed the previous ones) can this please be left as it is now.

One of the reasons why starting this thread weekly was given to the mods was to make the format consistent- hence the need for it. If letting non chart mods start these threads becomes an issue then perhaps the mods may need to re-consider this.

I trust this clears up matters.

not particularly. i really do not see what difference it makes to anybody at all? can somebody please explain to me what difference my title made to anybody's life?

i think perhaps some people should look at themselves and realise when they are becoming anally retentive. are there now rules on how a title should look? who decided on this and when?

Serious Anastacia post for a change: has her appearance on Sunday Brunch had ANY effect whatsoever?

It makes a difference to try and make the thread titles informative for users of the forum. The chart mods have every right to change the titles within reason and I think this was within reason.

As for being anally retentive, that is an over exaggeration, given that not every title is the same here - the iTunes thread is one of the biggest threads on the forum so it is useful to the site if the title etc are informative.

Excuse me but it looks like it is very important to your life because you're the one who cannot let it go.

But if we are at it: iTunes is a brand name, so I'm guessing it should be written how it is. :)

so you are suggesting a title lacking in capitals will somehow damage people's ability to use the thread or see where it is? do people not read the title? it is very clear what it is. how is the title uninformative exactly?

i have had some ridiculous arguments in my time on this forum but one over a few capital letters. lord have mercy.

No offence, but this argument is VERY OCD.

no arguments plz.

I am explaining why thread titles are sometimes changed by mods of a forum - and yes, having capital letters in the correct places does make it easier for forum users to read - especially with such a well used thread like this one.

so because of a lower case 't' and a lower 'm' people won't find the thread and will have some sort of harmful effect on the forum? i'm sorry but that's utterly preposterous and a little insulting to the users of this forum.

can't people just be honest and just say "yes, i'm about a ocd about this sort of thing" rather than coming out with these bizarre justifications.

Personally, I am more likely to look at this thread as it doesn't look like a standard iTunes thread.

An argument and "the griff" landed :heehee:
I don't think I am being argumentative though, or taking sides. I'm just saying that not every user responds well to the same way of doing things.
