Indeed, it is already up to #129! :o

It's looking like we are going to get a lot of 1-week #1s in the next month or so. The following all look like they have a very good chance of #1 based on pre-orders so far:

25th May: Secondcity - I Wanna Feel

1st June: Ed Sheeran - Sing

8th June: Ella Henderson - Ghost

15th June: Gorgon City feat. Laura Welsh - Here For You

22nd June: Oliver Heldens & Becky Hill - Gecko (Overdrive)

29th June: Sia - Chandelier

6th July: Ella Eyre - If I Go or Jess Glynne - Right Here

13th July: Ariana Grande feat. Iggy Azalea - Problem

So many potentially massive hits coming week after week! And if Cheryl does release a single at some point which has been rumoured then that could be yet another #1.

I'm not sure Sia will get to #1, I'd love her to but it depends whether radio pick it up...

Sucks that Jess Glynne and Ella Eyre are in competition, I want both to get to #1 :( Hopefully If I Go does out of the two <3

Sia is already just outside the top 200 on pre-orders so it looks like there is already some support for her somewhere. I'm sure Radio 1 will playlist her at least!
I forgot about 5 Seconds of Summer, they will probably beat Gorgon City to #1 that week.

ugh

nononononononono

Anyhow for some reason, sadly I can't see Ella Henderson & Sia at #1

And on a separate note I do prefer Jubel over I Wanna Feel, as someone hinted its a bit like 'My Love'

I haven't heard the new track from Gorgon City and Oliver Heldens yet.

6th July is going to be a bloodbath between Ella Eyre and Jess, both tracks are good, unless one of those tracks gets a later date or drops early.

Yes I think this too! :D I wouldn't be surprised if 'Jubel' was higher in the chart on the second week than 'I Wanna Feel', it could get 2 weeks at #2 behind 'I Wanna Feel' and then 'Sing' as long as Capital do playlist it next week as they do with most songs that go top 10 on iTunes that they haven't playlisted.

Its the 50% drop for 2nd week singles we have been seeing alot this yr!

I think 'Ghost' is definitely going to #1 now, it's already just outside the top 100 on pre-orders with a good 2/3 weeks until release and I can't see Ed Sheeran staying at #1 for a second week so there is no competition.

I know hating the charts in 2014 dominated by 1 week wonders its a bit of a shambles. I think Ella Henderson is gauranteed No1 almost!

It just sounds like a smash when you hear it. I just hope it isn't a one-hit-wonder like other X-factor contestants Amelia Lily and Diana Vickers.

Both SecondCity & Klingande are wonderful and both would be amazing number 1s, Long live subtle dance songs :cheer: I am quite surprised how well Jubel's done though, I thought after Changes could only get to #3 and fall quite quickly, this wouldn't really do much better but it looks like it will at least outchart that.

Yikes at all these one week number 1s that are looking likely though, hai year 2000.

Wait. Is Sia actually looking to get a hit with 'Chandelier' now?? :o *still praying*

Why the sudden rise?

I've noticed the video being played on TV so perhaps it's picking up some decent airplay there. I do hope this will be a big hit, if anyone was to deserve a hit it would be Sia since she's responsible for the success of a lot of big songs!

Will we ever have a two + weeker number 1 again?

The Second City song is great imo. Am I the only one who thinks it's the darkest sounding of all the house hits so far? The rest have been all very uplifting and soulful, whilst I Wanna Feel feels a little bit more intense and a bit less happy (not saying it's a really dark song, just compared to the other house songs in the chart the past couple of years).

I think Ed Sheeran could get two weeks tbh. That said, I thought You Need Me was a guaranteed #1 and it wasn't, so...

Can't see Gorgon City getting #1 as much as I love the song and I love them. Also doubt Sia will get it.

Will be so pissed off if 5SOS get a #1. Not representative of what's actually popular at the moment at all. Stupid fan bases.

 95. Ella Henderson "Ghost"

Hoping this can be a huge seller then, doing really well already!

6th July: Ella Eyre - If I Go or Jess Glynne - Right Here

I hope they change these release date as they would both be two of the best #1's of the year!

oh my god no, here for you is one of the best dance tracks of the year. I do like Don't Stop but that would be injustice.

Yeah Sia has picked up a lot of momentum lately! I swear she wasn't top 1500 a few days ago!? :/

But I think it's due to her performance on Ellen. It's gone viral because she's there but doesnt want to be seen. If you can get the chance, watch the performance! It's really unique!

I am skeptical on if she's singing live in that performance. Her voice doesn't sound live (even though it's far from a perfect vocal, she cracks a few times). Regardless, the whole "facing the wall" thing is so obnoxious.

The song is good though. And the little dancer girl is incredible.

Don't think this has been mentioned yet - happened a few updates ago:

 3. Mr. Probz - Waves (Robin Schulz Radio Edit)

 4. Rita Ora - I Will Never Let You Down

Still hope 'Waves' can grab the official #2 spot.

I didn't think it came across as obnoxious at all. It worked in the context of the performance IMO, especially when the girl and her danced in unison at some points. Also at the end, you could see how genuinely happy she was to see Ellen. Maybe I'm making too many allowances for her though - I don't know :P.
