I wish Shakira's "La La La" could be in there too. :(

The video is great:

Is there an official England song for this year's World Cup? I know they didn't have one for the last one, but is there one in the pipeline for this year?

I think the official song is Gary Barlow & Friends – Greatest Day (England World Cup Song). It's under coming soon in the New Release Schedule, so I guess details about it will be released soon. I hope it isn't a cover of Take That's Greatest Day with celebrities singing with Gary Barlow.

Oh god, that sounds like my worst nightmare realised!

It's exactly that.

Gary Barlow, Gary Linekar, Conor Maynard, Kimberley Walsh, Pixie Lott, Mel C, Eliza Doolittle, Emma Bunton and Katy B on vocals

It's dreadful and I can only see it going the way of Teardrop (his Children In Need single from a few years ago)

Is there an actual video to the world cup version of Greatest Day?

That's got to be the worst song I've ever heard! I can't believe people will spend their hard earned money on that crap!

Oh god, it's just as bad as I imagined.

I seriously hope nobody in their right mind buys this. Those who do shouldn't be allowed access to computers or credit cards...

Could he not have afforded some better vocalists? That singing is atrocious!

I didn't think we could get any worse than that Shout For England thing in 2010, although that at least had some semblance of imagination to it. I don't believe this serves any purpose other than to make Mr Barlow's ego even more stratospheric than it already is.

Katy B? I wonder what Noahspike makes of all this.

30. Little Mix - Salute

74. Lana Del Rey - Once Upon a Dream (from "Maleficent")

77. James Blunt - Postcards

97. Raleigh Ritchie - Stronger Than Ever

Indeed. Barlow has come to the point of being unbearable. At least he will no longer ruin X Factor anymore.

Although now that he's in tax hell, I doubt he'll stop working anytime soon.

There was a video of them all recording the song but it doesn't seem to me on YouTube. It premièred during Sport Relief.

If it makes any of you feel any more at ease... Gabz has recorded a World Cup song aswell! :)

"Put your lighters in the air, if you want England to winnnnn" I can see those being the lyrics

I think the title says it all about our chances in the actual World Cup. As for the song...:)

'What's Luv' to do a 'Ghetto Superstar' please!! *.* (how bizarre that this seemed forgotten about until someone mentioned it in the "listening to" thread and now it's at #39 on UK iTunes! Haha. Buzzjack Effect *.*)
MY IMPACT :drink:

I'm pretty sure it was posted in the 'what are you listening to' thread after it appeared on iTunes which makes me think that was the reason it was posted there? I may be wrong :P
Very wrong, I had no clue it was discounted or charting high on iTunes when I listened to it :P
