June 15, 201412 yr Most probably missed the top 40 Kylie Minogue Crystallize - http://a4.mzstatic.com/us/r30/Music4/v4/f3/31/82/f3318254-1018-4bf2-018c-b02d8f90d203/dj.qdmfxztu.170x170-75.jpg Release date: 09-06-2014 Format: Digital single Label: Parlophone Records Video here: DfQAhii0TzA Biography Kylie Ann Minogue, OBE (born 28 May 1968), often known simply as Kylie, is an Australian singer, recording artist, songwriter and actress, working and living in London. After beginning her career as a child actress on Australian television, she achieved recognition through her role in the television soap opera Neighbours, before beginning her career as a recording artist in 1987. Minogue has achieved worldwide record sales of more than 70 million, and has received notable music awards, including multiple ARIA and Brit Awards and a Grammy Award. She has mounted several successful and critically acclaimed concert world tours and received a Mo Award for "Australian Entertainer of the Year" for her live performances. She was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) by Queen Elizabeth II in 2008 "for services to music". In the same year she was appointed by the French Government as a Chevalier (knight) of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, the junior grade of France's highest cultural honour, for her contribution to the enrichment of French culture. In 2011 her hit single "I Should Be So Lucky" was added to the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia's Sounds of Australia registry. The same year, Minogue was awarded an honorary Doctor of Health Science (D.H.Sc.) degree by Anglia Ruskin University in the United Kingdom for her work in raising awareness for breast cancer. In November 2011, on the 25th anniversary of the ARIA Music Awards, Minogue was inducted by the Australian Recording Industry Association into the ARIA Hall of Fame. Her first single, "The Loco-Motion", spent seven weeks at number one on the Australian singles chart and became the highest-selling single of the decade in Australia. This led to a contract with the British songwriters and producers Stock, Aitken & Waterman. Her debut album, Kylie (1988), and the single "I Should Be So Lucky", both performed well on international charts, particularly in Australia and the United Kingdom. Initially presented as a "girl next door", Minogue attempted to convey a more mature style in her music and public image. Her singles were well received, but after four albums her sales were declining, and she left Stock, Aitken & Waterman in 1992 to establish herself as an independent performer. Her next single, "Confide in Me", reached number one in Australia and was a hit in several European countries in 1994, and a duet with Nick Cave, "Where the Wild Roses Grow", brought Minogue a greater degree of artistic credibility. Drawing inspiration from a range of musical styles and artists, Minogue took creative control over the songwriting for her next album, Impossible Princess (1997). Minogue returned to prominence in 2000 with the single "Spinning Around" and the dance-oriented album Light Years, and she performed during the closing ceremonies of the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Her music videos showed a more sexually provocative and flirtatious personality and several hit singles followed. "Can't Get You Out of My Head" reached number one in more than 40 countries, and the album Fever (2001) was a hit in many countries, including the US, a market in which Minogue had previously received little recognition. In 2005, in the middle of a concert tour, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, forcing her to cancel the tour. After treatment, she resumed her career in 2006 with the Showgirl: The Homecoming Tour. In 2009, she embarked upon her For You, For Me tour, her first concert tour of the US and Canada. In 2014, Kylie became a judge on the third series of The Voice UK and the third series of The Voice Australia. - Wikipedia Chart history (Year peak title): 1988 01 I Should Be So Lucky -1- 1988 02 Got To Be Certain -2- 1988 02 The Loco-Motion -3- 1988 02 Je Ne Sais Pas Pourquoi -4- 1988 01 Especially For You (Kylie Minogue And Jason Donovan) 1989 01 Hand On Your Heart -1- 1989 02 Wouldn't Change A Thing -2- 1989 04 Never Too Late -3- 1990 01 Tears On My Pillow -4- 1990 02 Better The Devil You Know -1- 1990 04 Step Back In Time -2- 1991 06 What Do I Have To Do? -3- 1991 06 Shocked -4- 1991 16 Word Is Out -1- 1991 04 If You Were With Me Now (Kylie Minogue And Keith Washington) -2- 1991 49 Keep On Pumpin' It (Visionmasters Featuring Tony King And Kylie Minoque) 1992 02 Give Me Just A Little More Time -3- 1992 11 Finer Feelings -4- 1992 14 What Kind Of Fool (Heard All That Before) -1- 1992 20 Celebration -2- 1994 02 Confide In Me -1- 1994 11 Put Yourself In My Place -2- 1995 16 Where Is The Feeling? -3- 1995 11 Where The Wild Roses Grow (Nick Cave And Kylie Minogue) 1997 22 Some Kind Of Bliss -1- 1997 14 Did It Again -2- 1998 14 Breathe -3- 1998 63 GBI (Towa Tei Feat. She became interested in pursuing a career in the entertainment industry following a minor role in the 1986 film My Little Girl, to the dismay of her Puerto Rican parents, who believed that it was an unrealistic career route for a Hispanic. Lopez gained her first regular high-profile job as a Fly Girl dancer on In Living Color in 1991, where she remained a regular until she decided to pursue an acting career in 1993. She received her first leading role in the Selena biopic of the same name in 1997. Lopez became the first Latina actress to earn over $1 million for a role the following year, with the film Out of Sight. She ventured into the music industry in 1999 with her debut studio album, On the 6, joining a select few in successfully converting from a film to a music career. With the simultaneous release of her second studio album J.Lo and her film The Wedding Planner in 2001, Lopez became the first person to have a number one album and film in the same week. Her 2002 remix album, J to tha L–O! The Remixes, became the first in history to debut at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200, while her fifth studio album, Como Ama una Mujer (2007), received the highest first-week sales for a Spanish album in the United States. With records sales of 80 million and a cumulative film gross of over $2 billion, Lopez is regarded as the most influential Hispanic performer in the United States, as well as its highest paid Latin entertainer. As of May 2012, she has an estimated net worth of $250 million. Lopez has used her position as a global icon of pop culture to begin her own empire, consisting of various clothing lines, accessories, fragrances, a production company, television shows and a charitable foundation among other activities. She has established herself as a prominent figure in both the film and music industry, in a career spanning four decades. Lopez's public image and personal relationships have attracted worldwide media attention. Lopez's first high profile relationship was with media mogul Sean Combs, who accompanied her to the 2000 Grammy Awards where she wore the infamous Green Versace dress. She became romantically involved with actor Ben Affleck, while still married to her second husband Cris Judd. Lopez wed long-time friend Marc Anthony in 2004; the couple separated in 2011, after seven years of marriage. Lopez gave birth to their twins, Emme and Maximilian, in February 2008. - Wikipedia Chart history (Year peak title): 1999 04 If You Had My Love -1- 1999 05 Waiting For Tonight -2- 2000 15 Feelin' So Good (Jennifer Lopez Feat.
