Brendon Rogers insisting that Raheem Sterling will not leave Liverpool this summer.

We'll wait and see what happens there regarding Sterling.

We will pay hard ball. No question regardless, but most importantly I think they will set out a clear contract with incentives and targets, and probably a gentleman's agreement like Luiz Suarez if a European club came in for him. Can't see him moving to Manchester City, and if he did, they would be paying massively over the odds.

If he went to City he would rot on the bench like Sinclair probably.

They just want him for their English quota.

How much is Sterling wanting per week over £150k at least?

Yes- he would probably be a bench-warmer if he did move to Manchester City although I think he probably get more starts than Sinclair did.

I can't imagine he'd be a benchwarmer for City. Will probably be shoved out on the wing to accommodate Silva, but he'd get a lot of playing time I'm sure.

Could Milner be included in the deal? Potentially not I guess given he's out of contract, but City could avoid FFP issues by including someone in part exchange. Navas perhaps?

The problem is also complicated by Sterling's agent. He's breaking away from his agency, and going solo, so he undoubtedly wants the best deal he can get for his client. I expect Sterling wants to see where the club are come the summer i.e. CL qualification, FA Cup win.

Not fussed either way really, I hope he stays, but if he goes we'll get a vast sum of money and be able to buy a couple of good young players so each to their own really.

I think he'd be a first teamer at City straight away, but I think there is little chance he will go there, even if he wants to.

Hoping to see United in the heady heights of second (!) come close of play today, would be quite something after another indifferent start. City have an extremely tough game too so may even still be there come Tuesday.

Elsewhere it really is last chance saloon for QPR & Leicester, anything other than wins for both will absolutely mean curtains for them. If Burnley can grab a win it brings Hull & Villa back into the equation for the last relegation spot too.

I fancy Villa to get something at Old Trafford, and that's as much as I'll say incase they get battered!

Massive game for Leicester.

Well we have a great record against Villa especially at OT so I'm quietly confident, that said we know all this league works & with Villa still in a scrap it's certainly not a nailed-on win.

Typical West Ham! Massive result for Leicester though, but from the sounds of it we battered them second half :o

Good job it doesn't matter that much.

Haha it's alright, we've joined you in the nothing to play for League now

MASSIVE wins for Leicester and QPR, puts the pressure on the likes of West Brom/Hull/Villa now.

Wonder whos gonna be the first manager to say "we're playing for the prize money?"

Tons of Arsenal and Liverpool fans at work today, all had bets with each other! Customers joined in the laughing at Liverpool aha, didn't see that result coming.

None hopefully!

I didn't think we'd win, but I fancied a draw. Save for the 20 minute spell we were shite, and hit the self destruct button. Arsenal were the better team, but so many individual errors. We did the same last season too. Can't grumble too much, 9 points from City, Arsenal, Spurs, Southampton and Man United. Any team would take that. Annoying that we were beaten by a better team, but that's the reality  Too many young players, inexperience showed.

Puts even more pressure on Sunderland tomorrow with the results of Leicester and QPR today.

Chelsea looking odds-on to win the title providing they don't suffer a massive loss in form which is very unlikely.

Cor, that was a good goal from Charlie Adam for Stoke.

Goal of the Season anybody?

What a goal that was from Charlie Adam! In fact there were quite a few good goals today from the likes of Zamora, Rooney, Gomis. It was like a mini goal of the month competition lol.
