June 24, 201412 yr Ella Henderson is set to have decent sales on her third week, i think both her and the record company will be very pleased with how well this single has performed. Ella looks to be in the top half of the list of X Factor contestants who have had big hits. I am ever so delighted to see Example doing well again, he looks to have a safe top 10 hit on his hands, it would be wonderful if he bucks the trend of his last few singles and avoids plummeting like a rock next week.

June 24, 201412 yr Sam Smith holding on really well in the album chart. Shouldn't have any problem going platinum. Hope it can manage 2x Plat at the very least, although I can see it being a million seller if the album continues to be handled as well as it has been.

June 24, 201412 yr Aren't the majority of the sales of the album tracks legit this week though (apart from Sing which was Sunday's instant grat)? So it is quite an impressive achievement imo as the majority of the sales this week for those songs will be single track downloads (aside from those tagged to pre-orders of the album on Sunday). Without them being instant-grats and therefore advertised high in the chart, how many of them would people actually be downloading though?
June 24, 201412 yr I'm guessing Ed Sheeran's Sunday sales haven't been counted to this week's chart then, otherwise Sing would have sold a lot more than 16k (unless the album pre-orders weren't as high as we thought) Anyway, yay for Oliver Heldens at #1 with a good lead. :cheer:

I noticed when people like Arctic Monkeys and Mumford & Sons release albums all the album tracks got really high up the Spotify charts. I reckon it'll happen with Ed Sheeran as well. June 24, 201412 yr delighted to see oliver heldens at no1 with a very healthy 12.4k lead despite all the instant grat disruption :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: ghost would need to push gecko down below 0.30 on iTunes for the rest of the week to stand any chance of retaining the no1 spot which looks highly unlikely at this juncture ^_^ fantastic to see example at #4, far exceeded my expectations, hopefully this is the start of a revival in his chart fortunes :cheer: urgh at the ed sheeran invasion, although thankfully those instant grat sales seem to have been excluded from the chart

Doubtful it will stay like this but if the sales retain, this is going to be a Ed Sheeran Chart Show on Sunday. Might as well have him as a guest then.
