Apparently that does count as one of the singles from '#willpower' after all, it's counted as being a radio single. A pity it wasn't given a proper push though.

:( I was really counting on that being a late summer anthem last year, such thoroughly enjoyable tat.

I do find it funny how some on this forum make sweeping generalisations about others in order to feel superior. I very much nothinged Scream & Shout.

I'm not exactly going to name every single member I was referring to, was I?

Still can't believe Will.i.am never released 'Fall Down' as a single though.

I loved Fall Down, but wasn't Fall Down planned to be a single?

Yeah - Miley and Will.i.am had filmed a music video for 'Fall Down' also. It actually done rather well worldwide for a song that wasn't pushed in the slightest.

will.i.am's had a pretty superb set of chart peaks over the past couple of years tbh. From T.H.E onwards, he's gone 3-1-1-2-3-2 and now potentially another #1, as a lead artist, if I'm not mistaken?

And his chart peaks in his home country with the same tracks:

36-110-3-17-x-96-x

It's really quite odd how much more the UK has taken to will.i.am solo, especially considering the BEPs did the whole '26 consecutive weeks at #1' thing in the USA a little bit before these singles.

It was a promo singles from before the album was released, hence why it charted everywhere (I'm sure you know that already though ). It was later on sent to radio in Australia and probably some other countries.

The song is decent, but kind of like Crazy Kids. There was another song on the album similar to it called Gettin' Dumb.

The US seems to much prefer Fergie as a solo artist. It was like that with his previous album too. Heartbreaker did very well here, but he didn't have big hits from the album in the US (unless you count American Boy).

But also, pop radio stations in the US would never play a song like T.H.E. or Bang Bang. I don't think they would play Feelin' Myself either, but after the success of Fancy over there it's possible they might have done.

Oh, I know that - I just meant that it was top 1500 in the United Kingdom for around 6-7 months following the release of the album which is pretty good considering there was next to no airplay for the song.

Yeah, that's true. I think Miley-mania last year probably boosted Fall Down and a lot of her old songs' sales.

Will.I.Am's song is brilliant, number one please :)
I think the problem with the 'Sheezus' campaign was that she was returning after 4/5 years but comes back with a John Lewis song. Not the statement that she's been known to make. Then to address these issues of the comeback, they release a very radio friendly song that actually can't be played on radio due to one word. It kind of dryed up the hype really, anything extra was absolutely gone with 'Air Balloon'.
