So there is a big discussion around who will be #1 out of the releases on the week of 20th July, will it be Cheryl and Tinie or MAGIC!? Cheryl has the advantage of several weeks of pre-orders however MAGIC! definitely have the momentum on their side.

I think it's going to be very close, so with a week to go just as MAGIC! are starting to pull away from Cheryl in the pre-order race on iTunes, will MAGIC!'s momentum be enough to beat Cheryl and her current pre-order lead?

At the moment I think Cheryl will just manage #1, but MAGIC! definitely have the momentum and will make it a very close race. However, Cheryl's pre-order lead is definitely not uncatchable as some people say.

'Who do you THINK will be #1?'

Cheryl easily (with about 150k f/w sales at the very LEAST). MAGIC! will overtake the week after and have more longevity

'Who do you WANT to be #1?'

Neither. Jamie N Commons pls <3

I think Cheryl will be #1 in the midweeks and then MAGIC! will overtake, could go either way tbh. Would like MAGIC! to go to #1
I still have faith in Cheryl managing it, so I voted for her. I do love Magic!'s song though!

Hopefully 'Rude'.

That Cheryl Cole song is awful, and would be no where near as high on pre-orders had it been released by most others. Never seen the appeal personally, bar '3 Words' and to a lesser extent 'Call My Name'.

Remember what happened to 'Problem' and Kiesza too. Cheryl is no way on course for 150k+.

I cannot stand that Magic track, its beyond awful in my opinion!

Rude will end up outselling Cheryl by a massive margain by end of year but I hope she gets number one next week

I think Magic will go to Number 1, but want neither to get it as they're both dreadful tracks imo.

I think Cheryl will be number one for the opening week, but won't sell anywhere as big as Call My Name did, even with streaming support. She might do 95-102k. I can see MAGIC! doing around 70k with a number 2 debut. They can go up to number 1, assuming Cheryl's second-week decline and the new releases might not show much contention to rival for the top spot. Agree with many here that Rude will have better longevity than Crazy Stupid Love. I like CSL but it is nowhere near as strong as Call My Name.

I would like to see Charli XCX debuting high (released in the same week). The only thing is that The Fault In Our Stars has been out for a month now. It shouldn't matter though as the song is fantastic in its own right.

Cheryl probably quite comfortably. Who would I like? Neither tbh. In fact all the releases that week are average at best with the exception of Charli XCX which is fantastic.
I think/hope Cheryl will so she will tie with Rita Ora/Geri Haliwell for the record for most #1s by a British female solo arist. Although I much prefer "Rude" to "Crazy Stupid Love".
