8. Robbie Williams - She's The One (7.59)

((11) gavindeejay, (-1), jsliv)

A massive Number 1 hit for Robbie Willaims from November 1999, and the fourth single to be taken from his second album 'I've Been Expecting You'.

7. Alice Deejay - Back In My Life (7.62)

((11), gooddelta, (2), Rob S)

The follow up to the massive Number 2 hit 'Better Off Alone', the follow up 'Back In My life' certainly didn't dissapoint as it was a second Top 5 single, and comfortably makes it into the Buzzjack Top 10 of Now 44. :)

6. Eiffel 65 - Blue (Da Ba Dee) (7.77)

((11), Chez Wombat, Dobbo), (-1), Liam)

The Italian duo Eifful 65 had a massive Number 1 with this back in September 1999. This was the first CD single I ever bought. :kink: *hides*

5. S Club 7 - S Club Party (7.87)

((10), Tylky, Niall Minogue, Tboy, Doug, (3) Anthony T)

Second single from the S Clubbers, and a great party anthem too. This reached Number 2 in September 1999.

4. Melanie C - Northern Star (8.15)

((11), Rob S, (3), Jack)

Second solo single from Melanie C, from her debut solo album 'Northern Star'. This saw the former Spice Girl reach Number 4 in the UK Top 40.

3. Sixpence None The Richer - Kiss Me (8.75)

((11), Niall Minogue, Tboy, Jade, (6), Anthony T, gavindeejay, Jack)

One hit wonders Sixpence None The Richer are the third highest rated track on Now 44. 'Kiss Me' reached Number 4 in the UK Top 40.

2. Shania Twain - That Don't Impress Me Much (8.77)

((10), Doug, Liam, Tboy, Niall Minogue, Sherz, Rob S, gavindeejay, SCOTT, Luciana, Tylky, jsliv, (5), chez wombat)

Canadian country artist Shania Twain is the runner up with the anthem that is 'That Don't Impress Me Much', which reached Number 3 in the UK Top 40, but comes from the hit album 'Come On Over'.

1. Britney Spears - Baby One More Time (9.45)

(11), ultraviolence, Liam, Jack, scherz, Luciano, jonjo), (6), AnthonyT)

A bit predictable really, but Britney's debut single tops the Now 44 poll. This was the biggest selling single of 1999, and the song that made her a household name.

Many Thanks to everyone who has voted! :D

quelle surprise :P not a bad winner though, I'd have rather a few other tracks won but realistically it was always going to win. the results overall could have been better though, some average songs have made it up quite higher than expected (mel C, robbie, alice deejay, wamadue project).
Surprised to see Ronan Keating so high (18th)! It's a great cover of When You Say Nothing At All, so I'm pleased. But it's the kind of thing I'd expect Buzzjack to hate.

Some really strong songs there, gutted I didn't get to vote, Geri Halliwell's tracks should be top 5

Good to see Texas top 10 though

Perfect top 3, BOMT is such an undeniable classic <3

Back In My Life is ANYTHING but average!

Yay for Kiss Me, brilliant to see it still so highly regarded! The top two was obvious but they're very strong songs.

Surprised to see 'Back In My Life' in the top 10! I always thought it was under appreciated!

Gutted that my 11 rating went to a song peaking at No.31. 'The Launch' is a classic and would have been great for the millennium party!

But, I'm also chuffed to see S Club 7 in the Top 5. My childhood right there!
