I'm shocked it even snuck into the Top 20 in this, it was an easy 11 for me!

Hate James Arthur and that horrible song so much (but on hindsight I should have have it a 0 and either Jedward or 1d -1)

Joe McElderry's version of 'Ambitions' is decent, but Donkeyboy's original is just too good. James Arthur finishing outside the top 20 pleases me. Such a naf song/artist/voice. The whole "Look at me I'm so credible and indie!" try-hard attitude just didn't work for him.

I love Laura's song! I remember she did some sort of vote between 4 tracks to be her debut single and obviously 'You Should Have Known' must have won, I remember I voted for this and I was so happy that it did win!

that Laura White song is pretty good actually. I never knew it/she existed before this rate. Good to see it not too low.

 

gosh there really was a load of crap from X Factor though

I've always loved You Should Have Known :wub: Such a great little song, shame it didn't do better in the charts. That Union J song is pretty bad though, it's a shame their music is so abysmal as I liked them during the show.

Just caught up, I adored Same Difference when I was younger but I absolutely cringe listening to them now :lol:

 

Out of those last two, Laura has a great voice and whilst I haven't liked anything from Union J since, 'Carry You' was a fantastic debut for me.

Two amazing songs there by artists that should have finished so much higher in their respective years!

Lucy Spraggan was by far my favourite contestant that year, I loved all of her songs and her debut did not leave me disappointed at all.
