Really hope Troye Sivan can finally chart officially next week! 'Happy Little Pill' continues to be great!

Why hasn't that charted already though - it was as high as #3 on iTunes. Even if an instant grat, it is the first so you'd expect it to be chart-eligible?

For some reason the OCC have decided that instant grats from EPs aren't chart eligible. Even the first one.

Kworb hasn't been working for me for the last 2 days, is it the same for everyone? :(

Yeah it's the same when I've tried to access it; it just doesn't load

10 Black Widow (feat. Rita Ora)

I didn't saw a video effect this big in a WHILE. WTF.

#1 here we come!

If any post-album single is going to get to #1 I think it'd more likely be Don't, as it's currently doing better.

Yet Iggy is top 10 with only R1's TOTD and video effect, while Ed is A list on R1 and on the Capital playlist

You say that but Black Widow has leaped a whopping 40 places in 2 days (mainly because of being R1's TOTD & the the other being the video premier) and I don't think the video has even been played on music channels yet. So it will only progress further once more airplay kicks in. I think both tracks could go top 3 though.

I came to the conclusion that a group of Saturdays fans hacked it and crashed it deliberately so people can't see it.

Black Widow wasnt even top 200 consistently a week ago

Black Widow has been played on the radio for weeks already. I know it's not been on Capital or Radio 1, which are the main stations, but it's still something worth noting.

Jesus, never would have predicted Black Widow to do THIS well. Could be the highest charting 5th single from an album since Beneath Your Beautiful?

You kinda missed the point of my post tho

Black Widow is doing nearly just as good as Don't at the moment, with a lot less support, so the most logical thing to think is if it gets major support, it'll do even better (if it keeps up like this of course)

'Fancy' is vastly superior to 'Black Widow' but I'm VERY pleased with the success this is having ~ much deserved!

Yeah true. There's other factors to take into account too, like Don't is likely to get more airplay overall since adult contemporary stations play him (although in this case Heart FM isn't playing the song, and opting for Thinking Out Loud instead so might not benefit him that much this time around). Heart FM doesn't play hip hop songs (only one I can think of they played recently is Same Love, and that was only night-time spins apparently), so Black Widow doesn't stand much of a chance of being played there. Also, I think Ed Sheeran is more likely to be doing TV performances than Iggy since he lives here (although Rita Ora does too, so who knows?). TV performances aren't a huge deal, but they can boost a song for a couple of days.

I think Black Widow has a good chance of going #1 in the US, but not so sure about the UK.

Technically Thrift Shop was a 5th single too, but I know that's not quite the same as it was also his break-through hit so felt like a 1st single to most people probably.

41. Prayer In C - Lilly Wood

this could actually be #1 omg

OMG!!! I do love Duke Dumont - Won't Look Back (89 as of now) but 10 days BEFORE release to be in the top 40? that's REALLY REALLY good sign... I'm team PITC that week but it's gonna be so close.

Pray in C is a much superior track imo, Duke sounds like his other singles and alot like a few other house tracks released the past 18 months!
