Well, I know it's a long shot but Fleur-Rihanna would be great, if only she was releasing an album. Or maybe they will somehow land Beyoncé for the final. Or perhaps Nicki Minaj?

 

I wouldn't be surprised if Ben does a duet with Ed Sheeran.

I think they'll be really predictable and get Fleur with Jessie J or Emeli Sandé.

I'm hoping that the reason we've had some supposedly "scraping the barrel" guests like Idina, Fifth Harmony, Union J etc. is becsuse they've blown the budget on getting someone like Beyoncé for the final but I very much doubt it.

Story going round the the papers and online today is the other contestants are annoyed Fleur has been 'guaranteed the win' by producers with her favourable treatment.

 

Normally these stories are planted by 'insiders' the Saturday/Sunday to get someone out (Jay James a bully the week he went, Paul difficult to work with the week he went etc) but I cant figure out if this one makes Fleur look bad as her favourable treatment has been obvious, or makes the other three look bad, petty and jealous.

I don't think she's been given the "favourable treatment" at all, no more so than the others anyway (All 4 of these have been "favourites" at some point haven't they?) Pretty sure we've been set up for a Ben victory from the start. She's just the one who's versatile enough to give it a go and give it her all at anything. Lauren's attempted the dancier, pop songs, but she couldn't execute her moves quite as well/her vocals have been inconsistent throughout. Andrea and Ben just tread the same formula week in, week out. Ben is a bit more varied, in the sense that he's done a couple of "risks". But Fleur is the only one to give performances every week.

 

But meh, this is the press. We really can't read too much into what they write about.

The thing is, if they did end up putting Fleur first people would just say they're putting her on first so people can vote straight away and she gets more votes. It's ridiculous. If people didn't like her, they wouldn't vote for her. I don't think the show is entirely without manipulation, but I hate the stupid things people call fix over. Like people on the FB page are STILL saying it's a fox that Lauren beat SK :lol: There are these great things called VOTES, and she got more of them :lol:

The running order really does not matter at this stage of the competition with only 4 left .People pretty much have their favourites at this point and know who they are going to vote for regardless. Plus they are singing 2 songs each.

I didn't see much "favourable treatment" for Fleur last week. On paper her two songs were two of the least known songs performed & also the least modern - one was 11 years old and the other 54. Meanwhile Ben got 'Thinking Out Loud'. I think in terms of favourable treatment Ben more than gives Fleur a run for her money.

 

On a lesser note, the channel 4 show Gogglebox has shown Andrea performances two or three times now including last night. I'm not sure how much that'll help but he's getting that additional exposure anyway.

So with Fleur performing Uptown Funk I make this only the 2nd time in the show's history that an act is singing a song which isn't available to the buying public? (After Danyl Johnson with that Whitney track)
