August 12, 201411 yr Is that Hot Natured track a re-entry, I think I remember it charted once, unless I dreamt it.
August 12, 201411 yr Is that Hot Natured track a re-entry, I think I remember it charted once, unless I dreamt it. It is a re-entry. It charted at #40 in late 2012.
August 12, 201411 yr That Rizzle Kicks track is way too high, its just plain awful, talk about a big step back for them. And Cheryl Cole is down to #7 before anyone asks.
August 12, 201411 yr So happy Idina and Paloma are climbing with two great songs Is Nicole still top 40?
August 12, 201411 yr At first I thought data might be missing but the sales for albums look correct? The fact that Loveable Rogues are at #20 when they have been between #9 - #13 on iTunes with no physical available looks right as do sales for Ed etc, I did wonder if maybe sales from the official site were missing for the GH box set etc, but if they were that would have also affected the single as the signed physicals are sold from their official store also?
August 12, 201411 yr Wonder how long it will be until x is toppled from the top spot. 8 weeks is INSANE! Just reading the release schedule and it seems only Maroon 5 will poise a threat to Ed in the next couple of weeks and then The Script as well. Its holding very steady it should do around 25-30k this week again which isnt actually too bad considering its in its 8th week. I think either Twin Atlantic or Royal Blood will topple him for a week at least before the end of August then we will have a more busy period as bigger acts prepare for the final part of the yr!

I think that Collabro group could knock him off #1 (they're apparently the BGT winners, so I assume that'll sell quite a lot?) Not surprised Ed's sales are holding steady; since he basically has 3 different singles right now (Sing, TOL + Don't), getting a good amount of radio-play all at once
August 12, 201411 yr Do you REALLY expected the Sats to do better than 6 and 10??? Cause that's either delusional or a bit of trolling to make it look worse than it is. Physicals of the single must be big considering it has peaked at 18 on iTunes and streaming is included now... I was expecting 18 or so at best today. It will sure fall throughout the week, but I hope it can stay top 20. And regarding the album, 6 is better than I expected too. Some of you talking about "all those editions and the copies from the tickets" as if they were free (they're not) or as if thousands of fans will buy all versions... And that's not how it works. If the album remains top 10 and the single top 20 comes Sunday, I couldn't be happier, considering the absolutely zero airplay and their current situation... Edited August 12, 201411 yr by rub

That should hold off Twin Atlantic as although the singles off this album have been commercial I dont think itll be enough for them to do more than 18-20k in week one. Royal Blood could be big though they are really building a head of steam - they should debut at No1 the following week!

It is~ then there's Ariana Grande/Royal Blood to challenge Collabro/Ed the week after. can't really see Royal Blood getting to #1 personally (could be wrong!), but that should be an interesting week ;o

If the album remains top 10 and the single top 20 comes Sunday, I couldn't be happier, considering the absolutely zero airplay and their current situation... I think I just personally thought that The Saturdays had a bigger core fan base that buy all the releases [iv downloaded the album so I'm not bashing them!], With the fact their is a tour edition, box set etc and the fact the album has been on pre-order for a while I think everyone was expecting more than 2.7k opening considering Sat's releases are always heavily front loaded, I really thought this would appeal to casual fans too as many people won't have their albums as most have sold poorly - I guess they could get a boost with TV ads and appeal to the general public that have no awareness the album is out.
August 12, 201411 yr That Rizzle Kicks track is way too high, its just plain awful, talk about a big step back for them. And Cheryl Cole is down to #7 before anyone asks. Big step back? The song that has proved to have the widest appeal of their career so far?
August 12, 201411 yr I did think the predictions for 'Finest Selection' were rather optimistic. #6 first mids is about what I would have expected and it may scrape top 10 at the end of the week. The Gaslight Anthem and OneRepublic also ahead as I predicted! Go me. Don't think The Gaslight Anthem will hang onto #2 though, they don't have a particularly big lead - another week of Ed/Dolly top 2 most likely. I could see it dropping out again by Sunday but yay at Clean Bandit & Stylo G being top 40 today :D
August 12, 201411 yr The album being at #6 is poor - That includes all the pre-orders, tour ticket promotion, downloads and fan multi buying - I'm guessing to be at #6 they have sold around 3-4k? Whatever way it's dressed up for a GH in a low sales period that's nothing short of a disaster especially as they have not had any majorly successful selling albums I thought there might be a lot of casual buyers for the GH. Good start for the single - Would be nice if it could hold onto a Top 20 place but looking unlikely? So basically nobody but half of Buzzjackers have bought it :P I'm not from the UK but seems clear to me that acts like Saturdays and Pixie Lott are has beens in the eyes of casual buyers. It's hardly surprising. Sats have never been album sellers anyway. Edited August 12, 201411 yr by SKOB
