August 17, 201412 yr Will be really interesting to see how The Sats have fared in sales vs streaming.
August 17, 201412 yr Judging by The Saturdays performance, surely streaming can't be added until the end of the week?I think it's just that weekend streaming is higher + maybe non-Spotify streams not added until the end, there's definitely some streaming in the mids.

August 17, 201412 yr Judging by The Saturdays performance, surely streaming can't be added until the end of the week? I think it's just that weekend streaming is higher + maybe non-Spotify streams not added until the end, there's definitely some streaming in the mids. And the fact The Sats sold almost nothing over the weekend... :P (Sales are still higher at the weekend also). 'What Are You Waiting For?' was a generic mess (and I don't even always dislike The Sats' generic tracks, 'All Fired Up' is a tune).
August 17, 201412 yr On the plus side, this is better then the new David Guetta. I don't understand the relevance?
August 17, 201412 yr Surely the obvious point is that streaming is more cumulative; somebody who buys a song early in the week is unlikely to buy it again, but somebody who streams a song will probably keep doing it.
