August 17, 201412 yr So Twin Atlantic have held on then? They seemed to drop like a stone by the end, as par the course. And re:the retros, I didn't realise how many copies Bran Van 3000 sold in its first week - only 3k off the top spot. It's a class track, although I don't hear it than often these days.
August 17, 201412 yr Listening to it now with my cousin who's 10 as she likes music I'll try to comment on each song but I don't know if I will

August 17, 201412 yr 40 69 02 Sam Smith I'm Not The Only One In The Lonely Hour | 2014 http://a3.mzstatic.com/us/r30/Music5/v4/3e/34/5e/3e345ec0-d75f-5cc8-c10f-211e071c56bf/14UMGIM31259.170x170-75.jpg Chart Run: 69-40 Release date: 31-08-2014 Format: digital single Label: Capitol Records Chart sales: 6k+ Video here: nCkpzqqog4k download track listing 1 I'm Not the Only One (Radio Edit) 2 I'm Not the Only One (Armand Van Helden Remix) 3 I'm Not the Only One (Grant Nelson Remix) 4 I'm Not the Only One (Armand Van Helden's DAT SHIZNIT IZ SLAMMIN' Remix) Biography Although the first solo single from soul-inspired, London-born artist Sam Smith was issued in early 2013, it was his soaring vocal contribution to Disclosure's October 2012 U.K. garage track "Latch" which brought him to most people's attention. For most of his teens, Smith balanced study with music, soaking in the raw and passionate approach to performance exemplified by his favorite artists at that time such as Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, and Chaka Khan. "Latch" hit the upper reaches of the U.K. singles chart when Smith was 21, and many were surprised when his debut solo track took a more tempered path. The production on February 2013's "Lay Me Down" — also courtesy of the ordinarily dancefloor-focused duo Disclosure — recalled the stripped-back material that had proved successful for Adele in the preceding years. Next, Shahid Khan — aka Naughty Boy — decided to follow his Emeli Sandé-fronted U.K. Top Ten hit "Wonder" with the infectious, Bollywood sample-driven "La La La." Featuring Smith's powerful lead vocal, it became an instant May 2013 U.K. number one single following his spring tour in support of Sandé. - iTunes Chart history (Year peak title): 2012 11 Latch (Disclosure Feat. Sam Smith) 2013 01 La La La (Naughty Boy Feat. Sam Smith) MILLION SELLER 2014 01 Money On My Mind -2- 2014 46 Lay Me Down -1- 2014 01 Stay With Me -3- 2014 40 I'm Not The Only One -4- Album Discussion Here
August 17, 201412 yr Oh wow, glad this made it. His best single for me and the lyrics/vocals are both gorgeous. Hoping for a top 10/20 peak eventually.
